H3808 הלוא did they not H2088 לזה of him H6030 יענו sing one to another H4246 במחלות in dances, H559 לאמר saying, H5221 הכה hath slain H7586 שׁאול Saul H505 באלפו his thousands, H1732 ודוד and David H7233 ברבבתו׃ his ten thousands?

  12 H7760 וישׂם laid up H1732 דוד And David H853 את   H1697 הדברים words H428 האלה these H3824 בלבבו in his heart, H3372 וירא afraid H3966 מאד and was sore H6440 מפני of H397 אכישׁ Achish H4428 מלך the king H1661 גת׃ of Gath.

  14 H559 ויאמר Then said H397 אכישׁ Achish H413 אל unto H5650 עבדיו his servants, H2009 הנה Lo, H7200 תראו ye see H376 אישׁ the man H7696 משׁתגע is mad: H4100 למה wherefore H935 תביאו have ye brought H853 אתו   H413 אלי׃ him to

  2 H6965 ויקם arose, H1732 דוד And David H5674 ויעבר passed over H1931 הוא and he H8337 ושׁשׁ with the six H3967 מאות hundred H376 אישׁ men H834 אשׁר that H5973 עמו with H413 אל him unto H397 אכישׁ Achish, H1121 בן the son H4582 מעוך of Maoch, H4428 מלך king H1661 גת׃ of Gath.

  3 H3427 וישׁב dwelt H1732 דוד And David H5973 עם with H397 אכישׁ Achish H1661 בגת at Gath, H1931 הוא he H376 ואנשׁיו and his men, H376 אישׁ every man H1004 וביתו with his household, H1732 דוד David H8147 ושׁתי with his two H802 נשׁיו wives, H293 אחינעם Ahinoam H3159 היזרעאלית the Jezreelitess, H26 ואביגיל and Abigail H802 אשׁת wife. H5037 נבל Nabal's H3762 הכרמלית׃  

  5 H559 ויאמר said H1732 דוד And David H413 אל unto H397 אכישׁ Achish, H518 אם If H4994 נא I have now H4672 מצאתי found H2580 חן grace H5869 בעיניך in thine eyes, H5414 יתנו let them give H4725 לי מקום me a place H259 באחת in some H5892 ערי town H7704 השׂדה in the country, H3427 ואשׁבה that I may dwell H8033 שׁם there: H4100 ולמה for why H3427 ישׁב dwell H5650 עבדך should thy servant H5892 בעיר city H4467 הממלכה in the royal H5973 עמך׃ with

  9 H5221 והכה smote H1732 דוד And David H853 את   H776 הארץ the land, H3808 ולא neither H2421 יחיה and left H376 אישׁ man H802 ואשׁה nor woman H3947 ולקח alive, and took away H6629 צאן the sheep, H1241 ובקר and the oxen, H2543 וחמרים and the asses, H1581 וגמלים and the camels, H899 ובגדים and the apparel, H7725 וישׁב and returned, H935 ויבא and came H413 אל to H397 אכישׁ׃ Achish.

  10 H559 ויאמר said, H397 אכישׁ And Achish H408 אל Whither H6584 פשׁטתם have ye made a road H3117 היום today? H559 ויאמר said, H1732 דוד And David H5921 על Against H5045 נגב the south H3063 יהודה of Judah, H5921 ועל and against H5045 נגב the south H3397 הירחמאלי of the Jerahmeelites, H413 ואל and against H5045 נגב the south H7017 הקיני׃ of the Kenites.

  12 H539 ויאמן believed H397 אכישׁ And Achish H1732 בדוד David, H559 לאמר saying, H887 הבאשׁ utterly to abhor H887 הבאישׁ utterly to abhor H5971 בעמו He hath made his people H3478 בישׂראל Israel H1961 והיה him; therefore he shall be H5650 לי לעבד my servant H5769 עולם׃ forever.

  1 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H3117 בימים days, H1992 ההם in those H6908 ויקבצו gathered together H6430 פלשׁתים that the Philistines H853 את   H4264 מחניהם their armies H6635 לצבא for warfare, H3898 להלחם to fight H3478 בישׂראל with Israel. H559 ויאמר said H397 אכישׁ And Achish H413 אל unto H1732 דוד David, H3045 ידע   H3045 תדע   H3588 כי that H854 אתי with H3318 תצא thou shalt go out H4264 במחנה me to battle, H859 אתה thou H376 ואנשׁיך׃ and thy men.

  2 H559 ויאמר said H1732 דוד And David H413 אל to H397 אכישׁ Achish, H3651 לכן Surely H859 אתה thou H3045 תדע shalt know H853 את   H834 אשׁר what H6213 יעשׂה can do. H5650 עבדך thy servant H559 ויאמר said H397 אכישׁ And Achish H413 אל to H1732 דוד David, H3651 לכן Therefore H8104 שׁמר thee keeper H7218 לראשׁי of mine head H7760 אשׂימך will I make H3605 כל forever. H3117 הימים׃ forever.

  2 H5633 וסרני And the lords H6430 פלשׁתים of the Philistines H5674 עברים passed on H3967 למאות by hundreds, H505 ולאלפים and by thousands: H1732 ודוד but David H376 ואנשׁיו and his men H5674 עברים passed on H314 באחרנה in the rearward H5973 עם with H397 אכישׁ׃ Achish.

  3 H559 ויאמרו Then said H8269 שׂרי the princes H6430 פלשׁתים of the Philistines, H4100 מה What H5680 העברים Hebrews H428 האלה these H559 ויאמר said H397 אכישׁ And Achish H413 אל unto H8269 שׂרי the princes H6430 פלשׁתים of the Philistines, H3808 הלוא not H2088 זה this H1732 דוד David, H5650 עבד the servant H7586 שׁאול of Saul H4428 מלך the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 אשׁר which H1961 היה hath been H854 אתי with H2088 זה me these H3117 ימים days, H176 או or H2088 זה these H8141 שׁנים years, H3808 ולא no H4672 מצאתי and I have found H3972 בו מאומה fault H3117 מיום in him since H5307 נפלו he fell H5704 עד unto H3117 היום day? H2088 הזה׃ this

  6 H7121 ויקרא called H397 אכישׁ Then Achish H413 אל called H1732 דוד David, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אליו unto H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה him, Surely, the LORD H3588 כי for H3477 ישׁר hast been upright, H859 אתה thou H2896 וטוב good H5869 בעיני in my sight: H3318 צאתך and thy going out H935 ובאך and thy coming in H854 אתי with H4264 במחנה me in the host H3588 כי   H3808 לא I have not H4672 מצאתי found H7451 בך רעה evil H3117 מיום in thee since the day H935 באך of thy coming H413 אלי unto H5704 עד me unto H3117 היום day: H2088 הזה this H5869 ובעיני nevertheless the lords H5633 הסרנים nevertheless the lords H3808 לא not. H2896 טוב favor H859 אתה׃ thee

  8 H559 ויאמר said H1732 דוד And David H413 אל unto H397 אכישׁ Achish, H3588 כי But H4100 מה what H6213 עשׂיתי have I done? H4100 ומה and what H4672 מצאת hast thou found H5650 בעבדך in thy servant H3117 מיום so long H834 אשׁר as H1961 הייתי I have been H6440 לפניך with H5704 עד thee unto H3117 היום day, H2088 הזה this H3588 כי that H3808 לא I may not H935 אבוא   H3898 ונלחמתי fight H341 באיבי against the enemies H113 אדני of my lord H4428 המלך׃ the king?

  9 H6030 ויען answered H397 אכישׁ And Achish H559 ויאמר and said H413 אל to H1732 דוד David, H3045 ידעתי I know H3588 כי that H2896 טוב good H859 אתה thou H5869 בעיני in my sight, H4397 כמלאך as an angel H430 אלהים of God: H389 אך notwithstanding H8269 שׂרי the princes H6430 פלשׁתים of the Philistines H559 אמרו have said, H3808 לא He shall not H5927 יעלה go up H5973 עמנו with H4421 במלחמה׃ us to the battle.

  39 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H7093 מקץ at the end H7969 שׁלשׁ of three H8141 שׁנים years, H1272 ויברחו ran away H8147 שׁני that two H5650 עבדים of the servants H8096 לשׁמעי of Shimei H413 אל unto H397 אכישׁ Achish H1121 בן son H4601 מעכה of Maachah H4428 מלך king H1661 גת of Gath. H5046 ויגידו And they told H8096 לשׁמעי Shimei, H559 לאמר saying, H2009 הנה Behold, H5650 עבדיך thy servants H1661 בגת׃ in Gath.

  40 H6965 ויקם arose, H8096 שׁמעי And Shimei H2280 ויחבשׁ and saddled H853 את   H2543 חמרו his ass, H1980 וילך and went H1661 גתה to Gath H413 אל to H397 אכישׁ Achish H1245 לבקשׁ to seek H853 את   H5650 עבדיו his servants: H1980 וילך went, H8096 שׁמעי and Shimei H935 ויבא and brought H853 את   H5650 עבדיו his servants H1661 מגת׃
