  9 H559 ויאמר said H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H413 אל unto H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H5066 גשׁו Come H2008 הנה hither, H8085 ושׁמעו and hear H853 את   H1697 דברי the words H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיכם׃ your God.

  10 H3548 והכהנים For the priests H5375 נשׂאי which bore H727 הארון the ark H5975 עמדים stood H8432 בתוך in the midst H3383 הירדן of Jordan, H5704 עד until H8552 תם was finished H3605 כל every thing H1697 הדבר every thing H834 אשׁר that H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H3091 יהושׁע Joshua H1696 לדבר to speak H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H6680 צוה commanded H4872 משׁה Moses H853 את   H3091 יהושׁע Joshua: H4116 וימהרו hasted H5971 העם and the people H5674 ויעברו׃ and passed over.

  4 H2088 וזה And this H1697 הדבר the cause H834 אשׁר why H4135 מל did circumcise: H3091 יהושׁע Joshua H3605 כל All H5971 העם the people H3318 היצא that came out H4714 ממצרים   H2145 הזכרים males, H3605 כל all H582 אנשׁי   H4421 המלחמה of war, H4191 מתו died H4057 במדבר in the wilderness H1870 בדרך by the way, H3318 בצאתם after they came out H4714 ממצרים׃  

  10 H853 ואת   H5971 העם the people, H6680 צוה had commanded H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H559 לאמר saying, H3808 לא Ye shall not H7321 תריעו shout, H3808 ולא nor H8085 תשׁמיעו make any noise H853 את   H6963 קולכם your voice, H3808 ולא neither H3318 יצא proceed out H6310 מפיכם of your mouth, H1697 דבר shall word H5704 עד until H3117 יום the day H559 אמרי I bid H413 אליכם   H7321 הריעו you shout; H7321 והריעתם׃ then shall ye shout.

  8 H1961 והיה And it shall be, H8610 כתפשׂכם when ye have taken H853 את   H5892 העיר the city, H3341 תציתו ye shall set H853 את   H5892 העיר the city H784 באשׁ on fire: H1697 כדבר according to the commandment H3068 יהוה of the LORD H6213 תעשׂו shall ye do. H7200 ראו See, H6680 צויתי I have commanded H853 אתכם׃  

  27 H7535 רק Only H929 הבהמה the cattle H7998 ושׁלל and the spoil H5892 העיר city H1931 ההיא of that H962 בזזו took for a prey H1992 להם   H3478 ישׂראל Israel H1697 כדבר unto themselves, according unto the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוה he commanded H853 את   H3091 יהושׁע׃ Joshua.

  34 H310 ואחרי   H3651 כן   H7121 קרא he read H853 את   H3605 כל all H1697 דברי the words H8451 התורה of the law, H1293 הברכה the blessings H7045 והקללה and cursings, H3605 ככל according to all H3789 הכתוב that is written H5612 בספר in the book H8451 התורה׃ of the law.

  35 H3808 לא not H1961 היה There was H1697 דבר a word H3605 מכל of all H834 אשׁר that H6680 צוה commanded, H4872 משׁה Moses H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא not H7121 קרא read H3091 יהושׁע Joshua H5048 נגד before H3605 כל all H6951 קהל the congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H802 והנשׁים with the women, H2945 והטף and the little H1616 והגר ones, and the strangers H1980 ההלך that were conversant H7130 בקרבם׃ among

  24 H6030 ויענו And they answered H853 את   H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H559 ויאמרו and said, H3588 כי Because H5046 הגד it was certainly told H5046 הגד it was certainly told H5650 לעבדיך thy servants, H853 את   H834 אשׁר how that H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H853 את   H4872 משׁה Moses H5650 עבדו his servant H5414 לתת to give H853 לכם את   H3605 כל you all H776 הארץ the land, H8045 ולהשׁמיד and to destroy H853 את   H3605 כל all H3427 ישׁבי the inhabitants H776 הארץ of the land H6440 מפניכם from before H3372 ונירא afraid H3966 מאד you, therefore we were sore H5315 לנפשׁתינו of our lives H6440 מפניכם because of H6213 ונעשׂה you, and have done H853 את   H1697 הדבר thing. H2088 הזה׃ this

  15 H834 כאשׁר As H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H4872 משׁה Moses H5650 עבדו his servant, H3651 כן so H6680 צוה command H4872 משׁה did Moses H853 את   H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H3651 וכן and so H6213 עשׂה did H3091 יהושׁע Joshua; H3808 לא he left nothing undone H5493 הסיר   H1697 דבר   H3605 מכל of all H834 אשׁר that H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H4872 משׁה׃ Moses.

  6 H5066 ויגשׁו came H1121 בני Then the children H3063 יהודה of Judah H413 אל unto H3091 יהושׁע Joshua H1537 בגלגל in Gilgal: H559 ויאמר said H413 אליו unto H3612 כלב and Caleb H1121 בן the son H3312 יפנה of Jephunneh H7074 הקנזי the Kenezite H859 אתה him, Thou H3045 ידעת knowest H853 את   H1697 הדבר the thing H834 אשׁר that H1696 דבר said H3069 יהוה   H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses H376 אישׁ the man H430 האלהים of God H5921 על concerning H182 אדותי concerning H5921 ועל   H182 אדותיך   H6947 בקדשׁ ברנע׃ me and thee in Kadesh-barnea.

  7 H1121 בן old H705 ארבעים Forty H8141 שׁנה years H595 אנכי I H7971 בשׁלח sent H4872 משׁה when Moses H5650 עבד the servant H3068 יהוה of the LORD H853 אתי   H6947 מקדשׁ ברנע   H7270 לרגל to espy out H853 את   H776 הארץ the land; H7725 ואשׁב and I brought H853 אתו   H1697 דבר him word H834 כאשׁר again as H5973 עם in H3824 לבבי׃ mine heart.

  10 H6258 ועתה And now, H2009 הנה behold, H2421 החיה   H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 אותי   H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר he said, H2088 זה these H705 ארבעים forty H2568 וחמשׁ and five H8141 שׁנה years, H227 מאז even since H1696 דבר spoke H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H1697 הדבר word H2088 הזה this H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H834 אשׁר while H1980 הלך wandered H3478 ישׂראל Israel H4057 במדבר in the wilderness: H6258 ועתה and now, H2009 הנה lo, H595 אנכי I H3117 היום this day H1121 בן old. H2568 חמשׁ and five H8084 ושׁמונים fourscore H8141 שׁנה׃ years

  4 H5127 ונס And when he that doth flee H413 אל unto H259 אחת one H5892 מהערים cities H428 האלה of those H5975 ועמד shall stand H6607 פתח at the entering H8179 שׁער of the gate H5892 העיר of the city, H1696 ודבר and shall declare H241 באזני in the ears H2205 זקני of the elders H5892 העיר city, H1931 ההיא of that H853 את   H1697 דבריו his cause H622 ואספו they shall take H853 אתו   H5892 העירה him into the city H413 אליהם unto them, and give H5414 ונתנו unto them, and give H4725 לו מקום him a place, H3427 וישׁב that he may dwell H5973 עמם׃ among

  45 H3808 לא not H5307 נפל There failed H1697 דבר aught H3605 מכל of any H1697 הדבר thing H2896 הטוב good H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר had spoken H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אל unto H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H3605 הכל all H935 בא׃ came to pass.

  24 H518 ואם And if H3808 לא we have not H1674 מדאגה for fear H1697 מדבר of thing, H6213 עשׂינו done H853 את   H2063 זאת it H559 לאמר saying, H4279 מחר In time to come H559 יאמרו might speak H1121 בניכם your children H1121 לבנינו unto our children, H559 לאמר saying, H4100 מה What H3068 לכם וליהוה have ye to do with the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel?

  30 H8085 וישׁמע him, heard H6372 פינחס And when Phinehas H3548 הכהן the priest, H5387 ונשׂיאי and the princes H5712 העדה of the congregation H7218 וראשׁי and heads H505 אלפי of the thousands H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H834 אשׁר which H854 אתו with H853 את   H1697 הדברים the words H834 אשׁר that H1696 דברו spoke, H1121 בני the children H7205 ראובן of Reuben H1121 ובני and the children H1410 גד of Gad H1121 ובני and the children H4519 מנשׁה of Manasseh H3190 וייטב it pleased H5869 בעיניהם׃ it pleased

  32 H7725 וישׁב returned H6372 פינחס And Phinehas H1121 בן the son H499 אלעזר of Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest, H5387 והנשׂיאים and the princes, H853 מאת   H1121 בני the children H7205 ראובן of Reuben, H853 ומאת   H1121 בני the children H1410 גד of Gad, H776 מארץ out of the land H1568 הגלעד of Gilead, H413 אל unto H776 ארץ the land H3667 כנען of Canaan, H413 אל to H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H7725 וישׁבו   H854 אותם from H1697 דבר׃  

  33 H3190 וייטב pleased H1697 הדבר And the thing H5869 בעיני pleased H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H1288 ויברכו blessed H430 אלהים God, H1121 בני and the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3808 ולא and did not H559 אמרו intend H5927 לעלות to go up H5921 עליהם against H6635 לצבא them in battle, H7843 לשׁחת to destroy H853 את   H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר wherein H1121 בני the children H7205 ראובן of Reuben H1121 ובני   H1410 גד and Gad H3427 ישׁבים׃ dwelt.

  14 H2009 והנה And, behold, H595 אנכי I H1980 הולך going H3117 היום this day H1870 בדרך the way H3605 כל of all H776 הארץ the earth: H3045 וידעתם and ye know H3605 בכל in all H3824 לבבכם your hearts H3605 ובכל and in all H5315 נפשׁכם your souls, H3588 כי that H3808 לא not H5307 נפל hath failed H1697 דבר thing H259 אחד one H3605 מכל of all H1697 הדברים things H2896 הטובים the good H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר spoke H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H5921 עליכם concerning H3605 הכל you; all H935 באו are come to pass H3808 לכם לא unto you, not H5307 נפל hath failed H4480 ממנו of all H1697 דבר thing H259 אחד׃ one

  15 H1961 והיה Therefore it shall come to pass, H834 כאשׁר as H935 בא are come H5921 עליכם upon H3605 כל all H1697 הדבר things H2896 הטוב good H834 אשׁר you, which H1696 דבר promised H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H413 אליכם promised H3651 כן you; so H935 יביא bring H3068 יהוה shall the LORD H5921 עליכם upon H853 את   H3605 כל you all H1697 הדבר things, H7451 הרע evil H5704 עד until H8045 השׁמידו he have destroyed H853 אותכם   H5921 מעל you from off H127 האדמה land H2896 הטובה good H2063 הזאת this H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן hath given H3068 לכם יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם׃ your God

  26 H3789 ויכתב wrote H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H853 את   H1697 הדברים words H428 האלה these H5612 בספר in the book H8451 תורת of the law H430 אלהים of God, H3947 ויקח and took H68 אבן stone, H1419 גדולה a great H6965 ויקימה and set it up H8033 שׁם there H8478 תחת under H427 האלה an oak, H834 אשׁר that H4720 במקדשׁ by the sanctuary H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  29 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H310 אחרי after H1697 הדברים things, H428 האלה these H4191 וימת died, H3091 יהושׁע that Joshua H1121 בן the son H5126 נון of Nun, H5650 עבד the servant H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1121 בן   H3967 מאה a hundred H6235 ועשׂר and ten H8141 שׁנים׃ years old.

  4 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H1696 כדבר spoke H4397 מלאך when the angel H3068 יהוה of the LORD H853 את   H1697 הדברים words H428 האלה these H413 אל unto H3605 כל all H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H5375 וישׂאו lifted up H5971 העם that the people H853 את   H6963 קולם their voice, H1058 ויבכו׃ and wept.

  19 H1931 והוא But he H7725 שׁב himself turned again H4480 מן from H6456 הפסילים the quarries H834 אשׁר that H854 את by H1537 הגלגל Gilgal, H559 ויאמר and said, H1697 דבר errand H5643 סתר I have a secret H413 לי אליך   H4428 המלך unto thee, O king: H559 ויאמר who said, H2013 הס Keep silence. H3318 ויצאו by him went out H5921 מעליו from H3605 כל And all H5975 העמדים that stood H5921 עליו׃  

  20 H164 ואהוד   H935 בא came H413 אליו unto H1931 והוא him; and he H3427 ישׁב was sitting H5944 בעלית parlor, H4747 המקרה in a summer H834 אשׁר which H905 לו לבדו he had for himself alone. H559 ויאמר said, H164 אהוד   H1697 דבר I have a message H430 אלהים from God H413 לי אליך unto H6965 ויקם thee. And he arose H5921 מעל out of H3678 הכסא׃ seat.

  29 H559 ויאמרו And they said H376 אישׁ one H413 אל to H7453 רעהו another, H4310 מי Who H6213 עשׂה hath done H1697 הדבר thing? H2088 הזה this H1875 וידרשׁו And when they inquired H1245 ויבקשׁו and asked, H559 ויאמרו they said, H1439 גדעון Gideon H1121 בן the son H3101 יואשׁ of Joash H6213 עשׂה hath done H1697 הדבר thing. H2088 הזה׃ this

  1 H559 ויאמרו said H413 אליו unto H376 אישׁ And the men H669 אפרים of Ephraim H4100 מה him, Why H1697 הדבר   H2088 הזה us thus, H6213 עשׂית hast thou served H1115 לנו לבלתי us not, H7121 קראות that thou calledst H3588 לנו כי when H1980 הלכת thou wentest H3898 להלחם to fight H4080 במדין with the Midianites? H7378 ויריבון And they did chide H854 אתו with H2394 בחזקה׃ him sharply.
