Zephaniah 2:8-10 I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the sons of Ammon, by which they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.

9 H2416 Therefore as I live, H5002 [H8803] saith H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts, H430 the God H3478 of Israel, H4124 Surely Moab H5467 shall be as Sodom, H1121 and the sons H5983 of Ammon H6017 as Gomorrah, H4476 even the place possessed H2738 of nettles, H4379 H4417 and saltpits, H5704 H5769 and a perpetual H8077 desolation: H7611 the remainder H5971 of my people H962 [H8799] shall lay them waste, H3499 and the remnant H1471 of my nation H5157 [H8799] shall possess them.

10 H1347 This shall they have for their pride, H2778 [H8765] because they have reproached H1431 [H8686] and magnified H5971 themselves against the people H3068 of the LORD H6635 of hosts.
