Luke 22:31-46

  31 G1161 And G2962 the Lord G2036 [G5627] said, G4613 { Simon, G4613 Simon, G2400 [G5628] behold, G3588 the G4567 adversary G1809 [G5668] hath desired G5209 to have you, G4617 [G5658] that he may sift G5613 you as G4621 grain:}

  32 G1161 { But G1473 I G1189 [G5681] beseeched G4012 concerning G4675 thee, G3363 0 that G4675 thy G4102 faith G1587 [G5725] fail G3363 not: G2532 and G4218 when G4771 thou G1994 [G5660] art returned, G4741 [G5657] fix firmly G4675 thy G80 brethren.}

  33 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] he said G846 to him, G2962 Lord, G1510 [G5748] I am G2092 ready G4198 [G5738] to go G3326 with G4675 thee, G2532 both G1519 into G5438 prison, G2532 and G1519 to G2288 death.

  34 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] he said, G3004 [G5719] { I tell G4671 thee, G4074 Peter, G220 the cock G5455 0 shall G3364 not G5455 [G5692] crow G4594 this day, G4250 before G2228 thou shalt G5151 three times G533 [G5695] deny G3361 that thou G1492 [G5760] knowest G3165 me.}

  35 G2532 And G2036 [G5627] he said G846 to them, G3753 { When G649 [G5656] I sent G5209 you G817 without G905 purse, G2532 and G4082 sack, G2532 and G5266 shoes, G3361   G5302 [G5656] lacked ye G5100 any thing? G1161 } And G2036 [G5627] they said, G3762 Nothing.

  36 G3767 Then G2036 [G5627] said he G846 to them, G235 { But G3568 now, G2192 [G5723] he that hath G905 a purse, G142 [G5657] let him take G2532 it, and G3668 likewise G4082 his sack: G2532 and G2192 [G5723] he that hath G3361 no G3162 sword, G4453 [G5657] let him sell G846 his G2440 garment, G2532 and G59 [G5692] buy one.}

  37 G1063 { For G3004 [G5719] I say G5213 to you, G3754 that G5124 this G1125 [G5772] which is written G1163 [G5748] must G2089 yet G5055 [G5683] be finished G1722 in G1698 me, G2532 And G3049 [G5681] he was reckoned G3326 among G459 the lawless ones: G2532 G1063 for G4012 the things concerning G1700 me G2192 [G5719] have G5056 an end.}

  38 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] they said, G2962 Lord, G2400 [G5628] behold, G5602 here G1417 are two G3162 swords. G1161 And G2036 [G5627] he said G846 to them, G2076 [G5748] { It is G2425 sufficient.}

  39 G2532 And G1831 [G5631] he came out, G4198 [G5675] and went, G2596 as G1485 he was accustomed, G1519 to G3735 the mount G1636 of Olives; G1161 and G846 his G3101 disciples G2532 also G190 [G5656] followed G846 him.

  40 G1161 And G1096 [G5637] when he was G1909 at G5117 the place, G2036 [G5627] he said G846 to them, G4336 [G5737] { Pray G1525 [G5629] that ye enter G3361 not G1519 into G3986 temptation.}

  41 G2532 And G846 he G645 [G5681] was withdrawn G575 from G846 them G5616 about G3037 a stone's G1000 cast, G2532 and G5087 G1119 [G5631] kneeled down, G4336 [G5711] and prayed,

  42 G3004 [G5723] Saying, G3962 { Father, G1487 if G1014 [G5736] thou art willing, G3911 G3911 [G5629] remove G5124 this G4221 cup G575 from G1700 me: G4133 nevertheless G3361 not G3450 my G2307 will, G235 but G4674 thine, G1096 [G5634] be done.}

  43 G1161 And G3700 [G5681] there appeared G846 to him G32 a messenger G575 from G3772 heaven, G1765 [G5723] strengthening G846 him.

  44 G2532 And G1096 [G5637] being G1722 in G74 an agony G4336 [G5711] he prayed G1617 more earnestly: G1161 and G3588   G846 his G2402 sweat G1096 [G5633] was G5616 as it were G2361 clots G129 of blood G2597 [G5723] descending G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 ground.

  45 G2532 And G450 [G5631] when he rose up G575 from G4335 prayer, G2064 [G5631] and had come G4314 to G846 his G3101 disciples, G2147 [G5627] he found G846 them G2837 [G5746] sleeping G575 for G3077 sorrow,

  46 G2532 And G2036 [G5627] said G846 to them, G5101 { Why G2518 [G5719] sleep ye? G450 [G5631] rise G4336 [G5737] and pray, G3363 lest G1525 [G5632] ye enter G1519 into G3986 temptation.}
