Leviticus 22:1-16 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 H1696 [H8761] Speak H175 to Aaron H1121 and to his sons, H5144 [H8735] that they separate H6944 themselves from the holy things H1121 of the sons H3478 of Israel, H2490 [H8762] and that they profane H6944 not my holy H8034 name H6942 [H8688] in those things which they hallow H3068 to me: I am the LORD.

3 H559 [H8798] Say H376 to them, Whoever H2233 he may be of all your seed H1755 among your generations, H7126 [H8799] that approacheth H6944 the holy things, H1121 which the sons H3478 of Israel H6942 [H8686] hallow H3068 to the LORD, H2932 having his uncleanness H5315 upon him, that breath H3772 [H8738] shall be cut off H6440 from my face: H3068 I am the LORD.

4 H376 Whatever man H2233 of the seed H175 of Aaron H6879 [H8803] is a leper, H2100 [H8802] or hath a running issue; H398 [H8799] he shall not eat H6944 of the holy things, H2891 [H8799] until he is clean. H5060 [H8802] And whoever toucheth H2931 any thing that is unclean H5315 by the dead, H376 or a man H2233 H7902 whose seed H3318 [H8799] goeth from him;

5 H376 Or whoever H5060 [H8799] toucheth H8318 any creeping thing, H2930 [H8799] by which he may be made unclean, H120 or a man H2930 [H8799] of whom he may take uncleanness, H2932 whatever uncleanness he hath;

6 H5315 The breath H5060 [H8799] who hath touched H2930 [H8804] any such shall be unclean H6153 until evening, H398 [H8799] and shall not eat H6944 of the holy things, H518 unless H7364 [H8804] he shall wash H1320 his flesh H4325 with water.

7 H8121 And when the sun H935 [H8804] is set, H2891 [H8804] he shall be clean, H310 and shall afterward H398 [H8799] eat H6944 of the holy things; H3899 because it is his food.

8 H5038 That which dieth of itself, H2966 or is torn H398 [H8799] by beasts, he shall not eat H2930 [H8800] to defile H3068 himself with it: I am the LORD.

9 H8104 [H8804] They shall therefore keep H4931 my charge, H5375 [H8799] lest they bear H2399 sin H4191 [H8804] for it, and die H2490 [H8762] therefore, if they profane H3068 it: I the LORD H6942 [H8764] sanctifieth them.

10 H2114 [H8801] There shall no stranger H398 [H8799] eat H6944 of the holy thing: H8453 a resident alien H3548 of the priest, H7916 or an hired servant, H398 [H8799] shall not eat H6944 of the holy thing.

11 H3548 But if the priest H7069 [H8799] shall buy H5315 any person H7075 with H3701 his money, H398 [H8799] he shall eat H3211 of it, and he that is born H1004 in his house: H398 [H8799] they shall eat H3899 of his food.

12 H3548 If the priest's H1323 daughter H2114 [H8801] also shall be married to a strange H376 man, H398 [H8799] she may not eat H8641 of an offering H6944 of the holy things.

13 H3548 But if the priest's H1323 daughter H490 shall be a widow, H1644 [H8803] or driven out, H2233 and shall have no child, H7725 [H8804] and have returned H1 to her father's H1004 house, H5271 as in her youth, H398 [H8799] she shall eat H1 of her father's H3899 food: H2114 [H8801] but there shall no stranger H398 [H8799] eat of it.

14 H376 And if a man H398 [H8799] shall eat H6944 of the holy thing H7684 unknowingly, H3254 [H8804] then he shall put H2549 to it the fifth H5414 [H8804] part, and shall give H3548 it to the priest H6944 with the holy thing.

15 H2490 [H8762] And they shall not profane H6944 the holy things H1121 of the sons H3478 of Israel, H7311 [H8686] which they offer H3068 to the LORD;

16 H5375 [H8689] Or allow them to bear H5771 the perversity H819 of guilt, H398 [H8800] when they eat H6944 their holy things: H3068 for I the LORD H6942 [H8764] sanctifieth them.
