Genesis 28:12-19

  12 H2492 [H8799] And he dreamed, H5551 and behold a ladder H5324 [H8716] set upon H776 the earth, H7218 and the top of it H5060 [H8688] reached H8064 to heaven: H4397 and behold the messengers H430 of God H5927 [H8802] ascending H3381 [H8802] and descending on it.

  13 H3068 And, behold, the LORD H5324 [H8737] stood H559 [H8799] above it, and said, H3068 I am the LORD H430 God H85 of Abraham H1 thy father, H430 and the God H3327 of Isaac: H776 the land H7901 [H8802] on which thou liest, H5414 [H8799] to thee will I give it, H2233 and to thy seed;

  14 H2233 And thy seed H6083 shall be as the dust H776 of the earth, H6555 [H8804] and thou shalt spread abroad H3220 to the west, H6924 and to the east, H6828 and to the north, H5045 and to the south: H2233 and in thee and in thy seed H4940 shall all the families H127 of the soil H1288 [H8738] be blessed.

  15 H8104 [H8804] And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep H834 thee in all places where H3212 [H8799] thou goest, H7725 [H8689] and will bring thee again H127 into this soil; H5800 [H8799] for I will not leave H834 thee, until H6213 [H8804] I have done H1696 [H8765] that which I have promised to thee.

  16 H3290 And Jacob H3364 [H8799] awoke H8142 from his sleep, H559 [H8799] and he said, H403 Surely H3068 the LORD H3426 is H4725 in this place; H3045 [H8804] and I knew it not.

  17 H3372 [H8799] And he was afraid, H559 [H8799] and said, H3372 [H8737] How dreadful H4725 is this place! H1004 this is no other but the house H430 of God, H8179 and this is the gate H8064 of heaven.

  18 H3290 And Jacob H7925 [H8686] rose early H1242 in the morning, H3947 [H8799] and took H68 the stone H7760 [H8804] that he had put H4763 for his pillows, H7760 [H8799] and set it up H4676 for a pillar, H3332 [H8799] and poured H8081 oil H7218 on the top of it.

  19 H7121 [H8799] And he called H8034 the name H4725 of that place H1008 Bethel: H199 but H8034 the name H5892 of that city H3870 was called Luz H7223 at the first.
