Ezekiel 9 He called also in my ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

2 H8337 And, behold, six H582 men H935 [H8802] came H1870 from the way H5945 of the higher H8179 gate, H6437 [H8716] which lieth H6828 toward the north, H376 and every man H4660 a slaughter H3627 weapon H3027 in his hand; H259 and one H376 man H8432 among H3847 [H8803] them was clothed H906 with linen, H5608 [H8802] with a writer's H7083 inkhorn H4975 by his side: H935 [H8799] and they went in, H5975 [H8799] and stood H681 beside H5178 the brasen H4196 altar.

3 H3519 And the glory H430 of the God H3478 of Israel H5927 [H8738] had gone up H3742 from the cherub, H4670 on which he was, to the threshold H1004 of the house. H7121 [H8799] And he called H376 to the man H3847 [H8803] clothed H906 with linen, H5608 [H8802] who had the writer's H7083 inkhorn H4975 by his side;

4 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H5674 [H8798] to him, Go through H8432 the midst H5892 of the city, H8432 through the midst H3389 of Jerusalem, H8427 [H8689] and set H8420 a mark H4696 upon the foreheads H582 of the men H584 [H8737] that sigh H602 [H8737] and that groan H8441 for all the abominations H6213 [H8737] that are done H8432 in the midst of it.

5 H428 And to the others H559 [H8804] he said H241 in mine hearing, H5674 [H8798] Go H310 ye after H5892 him through the city, H5221 [H8685] and smite: H5869 let not your eye H2347 [H8799] spare, H2550 [H8799] neither have ye commiseration:

6 H2026 [H8799] Slay H4889 decadently H2205 old H970 and young, H1330 both virgins, H2945 and little children, H802 and women: H5066 [H8799] but come not near H376 any man H8420 upon whom is the mark; H2490 [H8686] and begin H4720 at my sanctuary. H2490 [H8686] Then they began H2205 H582 at the elders H6440 who were at the face of H1004 the house.

8 H5221 [H8687] And it came to pass, while they were slaying H7604 [H8737] them, and I was left, H5307 [H8799] that I fell H6440 upon my face, H2199 [H8799] and cried, H559 [H8799] and said, H162 Ah H136 Sovereign H3069 LORD! H7843 [H8688] wilt thou decay H7611 the whole remnant H3478 of Israel H8210 [H8800] in thy pouring out H2534 of thy hot anger H3389 upon Jerusalem?

9 H559 [H8799] Then said H5771 he to me, The perversity H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel H3063 and Judah H3966 is exceeding H1419 great, H776 and the land H4390 [H8735] is full H1818 of blood, H5892 and the city H4390 [H8804] full H4297 of perverseness: H559 [H8804] for they say, H3068 The LORD H5800 [H8804] hath forsaken H776 the earth, H3068 and the LORD H7200 [H8802] seeth not.

10 H5869 And as for me also, mine eye H2347 [H8799] shall not spare, H2550 [H8799] neither will I have commiseration, H5414 [H8804] but I will recompense H1870 their way H7218 upon their head.

11 H376 And, behold, the man H3847 [H8803] clothed H906 with linen, H7083 who had the inkhorn H4975 by his side, H7725 [H8688] reported H1697 the matter, H559 [H8800] saying, H6213 [H8804] I have done H6680 [H8765] as thou hast commanded me.
