Deuteronomy 31 And Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel.

1 H4872 And Moses H3212 [H8799] went H1696 [H8762] and spoke H1697 these words H3478 to all Israel.

2 H559 [H8799] And he said H3967 to them, I am an hundred H6242 and twenty H8141 years H1121 old H3117 this day; H3201 [H8799] I can H3318 [H8800] no more go out H935 [H8800] and come in: H3068 also the LORD H559 [H8804] hath said H5674 [H8799] to me, Thou shalt not go over H3383 this Jordan.

3 H3068 The LORD H430 thy God, H5674 [H8802] he will go over H6440 at the face of H8045 [H8686] thee, and he will desolate H1471 these nations H6440 from the face of H3423 [H8804] thee, and thou shalt possess H3091 them: and Joshua, H5674 [H8802] he shall go over H6440 at the face of H3068 thee, as the LORD H1696 [H8765] hath said.

4 H3068 And the LORD H6213 [H8804] shall do H6213 [H8804] to them as he did H5511 to Sihon H5747 and to Og, H4428 kings H567 of the Amorites, H776 and to the land H8045 [H8689] of them, whom he desolated.

5 H3068 And the LORD H5414 [H8804] shall give them up H6440 before your face, H6213 [H8804] that ye may do H4687 to them according to all the commandments H6680 [H8765] which I have commanded you.

6 H2388 [H8798] Be strong H553 [H8798] and of a good courage, H3372 [H8799] fear H6206 [H8799] not, nor be afraid H6440 of them: H3068 for the LORD H430 thy God, H1980 [H8802] he it is that doth go H7503 [H8686] with thee; he will not fail H5800 [H8799] thee, nor forsake thee.

7 H4872 And Moses H7121 [H8799] called H3091 to Joshua, H559 [H8799] and said H5869 to him in the eyes H3478 of all Israel, H2388 [H8798] Be strong H553 [H8798] and of a good courage: H935 [H8799] for thou must go H5971 with this people H776 to the land H3068 which the LORD H7650 [H8738] hath sworn H1 to their fathers H5414 [H8800] to give H5157 [H8686] them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.

8 H3068 And the LORD, H1980 [H8802] he it is that doth go H6440 at the face of H7503 [H8686] thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail H5800 [H8799] thee, neither forsake H3372 [H8799] thee: fear H2865 [H8735] not, neither be dismayed.

9 H4872 And Moses H3789 [H8799] wrote H8451 this law, H5414 [H8799] and gave H3548 it to the priests H1121 the sons H3878 of Levi, H5375 [H8802] who bore H727 the ark H1285 of the covenant H3068 of the LORD, H2205 and to all the elders H3478 of Israel.

10 H4872 And Moses H6680 [H8762] commanded H559 [H8800] them, saying, H7093 At the end H7651 of every seven H8141 years, H4150 in the solemnity H8141 of the year H8059 of release, H2282 in the feast H5521 of booths,

11 H3478 When all Israel H935 [H8800] is come H7200 [H8736] to appear H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD H430 thy God H4725 in the place H977 [H8799] which he shall choose, H7121 [H8799] thou shalt read H8451 this law H3478 before all Israel H241 in their hearing.

12 H6950 [H8685] Congregate H5971 the people, H582 men, H802 and women, H2945 and children, H1616 and thy guest H8179 that is within thy gates, H8085 [H8799] that they may hear, H3925 [H8799] and that they may learn, H3372 [H8804] and fear H3068 the LORD H430 your God, H8104 [H8804] and observe H6213 [H8800] to do H1697 all the words H8451 of this law:

13 H1121 And that their sons, H3045 [H8804] who have not known H8085 [H8799] any thing, may hear, H3925 [H8804] and learn H3372 [H8800] to fear H3068 the LORD H430 your God, H3117 as long as H2416 ye live H127 in the soil H5674 [H8802] where ye go over H3383 Jordan H3423 [H8800] to possess it.

14 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses, H3117 Behold, thy days H7126 [H8804] approach H4191 [H8800] that thou must die: H7121 [H8798] call H3091 Joshua, H3320 [H8690] and present H168 yourselves in the tent H4150 of meeting, H6680 [H8762] that I may give him a charge. H4872 And Moses H3091 and Joshua H3212 [H8799] went, H3320 [H8691] and presented H168 themselves in the tent H4150 of meeting.

15 H3068 And the LORD H7200 [H8735] appeared H168 in the tent H5982 in a pillar H6051 of a cloud: H5982 and the pillar H6051 of the cloud H5975 [H8799] stood H6607 over the door H168 of the tent.

16 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses, H7901 [H8802] Behold, thou shalt sleep H1 with thy fathers; H5971 and this people H6965 [H8804] will rise up, H2181 [H8804] and play the harlot H310 with H430 the gods H5236 of the foreigners H776 of the land, H935 [H8802] where they go H7130 to be among H5800 [H8804] them, and will forsake H6565 [H8689] me, and break H1285 my covenant H3772 [H8804] which I have made with them.

17 H639 Then my anger H2734 [H8804] shall be kindled H3117 against them in that day, H5800 [H8804] and I will forsake H5641 [H8689] them, and I will hide H6440 my face H398 [H8800] from them, and they shall be devoured, H7227 and many H7451 evils H6869 and straits H4672 [H8804] shall befall H559 [H8804] them; so that they will say H3117 in that day, H7451 Have not these evils H4672 [H8804] come H430 upon us, because our God H7130 is not among us?

18 H5641 [H8687] And I will surely H5641 [H8686] hide H6440 my face H3117 in that day H7451 for all the evils H6213 [H8804] which they shall have wrought, H3588 in that H6437 [H8804] they are turned H312 to other H430 gods.

19 H3789 [H8798] Now therefore write H7892 ye this song H3925 [H8761] for you, and teach H1121 it to the sons H3478 of Israel: H7760 [H8798] put H6310 it in their mouths, H7892 that this song H5707 may be a witness H1121 for me against the sons H3478 of Israel.

20 H935 [H8686] For when I shall have brought H127 them into the soil H7650 [H8738] which I swore H1 to their fathers, H2100 [H8802] that floweth H2461 with milk H1706 and honey; H398 [H8804] and they shall have eaten H7646 [H8804] and filled H1878 [H8804] themselves, and grew fat; H6437 [H8804] then will they turn H312 to other H430 gods, H5647 [H8804] and serve H5006 [H8765] them, and provoke H6565 [H8689] me, and break H1285 my covenant.

21 H7227 And it shall come to pass, when many H7451 evils H6869 and straits H4672 [H8799] have befallen H7892 them, that this song H6030 [H8804] shall testify H6440 against H5707 them as a witness; H7911 [H8735] for it shall not be forgotten H6310 out of the mouths H2233 of their seed: H3045 [H8804] for I know H3336 their imagination H6213 [H8802] which they frame, H3117 even now, H935 [H8686] before I have brought H776 them into the land H7650 [H8738] which I swore.

22 H4872 Moses H3789 [H8799] therefore wrote H7892 this song H3117 the same day, H3925 [H8762] and taught H1121 it to the sons H3478 of Israel.

23 H3091 And he gave Joshua H1121 the son H5126 of Nun H6680 [H8762] a charge, H559 [H8799] and said, H2388 [H8798] Be strong H553 [H8798] and of a good courage: H935 [H8686] for thou shalt bring H1121 the sons H3478 of Israel H776 into the land H7650 [H8738] which I swore to them: and I will be with thee.

24 H4872 And it came to pass, when Moses H3615 [H8763] had finished H3789 [H8800] writing H1697 the words H8451 of this law H5612 in a book, H8552 [H8800] until they were finished,

25 H4872 That Moses H6680 [H8762] commanded H3881 the Levites, H5375 [H8802] who bore H727 the ark H1285 of the covenant H3068 of the LORD, H559 [H8800] saying,

26 H3947 [H8800] Take H5612 this book H8451 of the law, H7760 [H8804] and put H6654 it in the side H727 of the ark H1285 of the covenant H3068 of the LORD H430 your God, H5707 that it may be there for a witness against thee.

27 H3045 [H8804] For I know H4805 thy rebellion, H7186 and thy stiff H6203 neck: H2416 behold, while I am yet alive H3117 with you this day, H4784 [H8688] ye have been rebellious H3068 against the LORD; H310 and how much more after H4194 my death?

28 H6950 [H8685] Congregate H2205 to me all the elders H7626 of your tribes, H7860 [H8802] and your officers, H1696 [H8762] that I may speak H1697 these words H241 in their ears, H5749 0 and call H8064 heaven H776 and earth H5749 [H8686] to record against them.

29 H3045 [H8804] For I know H310 that after H4194 my death H7843 [H8687] ye will utterly H7843 [H8686] decay H5493 [H8804] yourselves, and turn aside H1870 from the way H6680 [H8765] which I have commanded H7451 you; and evil H7122 [H8804] will befall H319 you in the latter H3117 days; H6213 [H8799] because ye will do H7451 evil H5869 in the eyes H3068 of the LORD, H3707 [H8687] to vex him H4639 through the work H3027 of your hands.

30 H4872 And Moses H1696 [H8762] spoke H241 in the ears H6951 of all the congregation H3478 of Israel H1697 the words H7892 of this song, H8552 [H8800] until they were ended.
