  2 G1161 Then G749 the high priest G2532 and G3588 the G4413 foremost G2453 of the Judeans G1718 [G5656] informed G846 him G2596 against G3972 Paul, G2532 and G3870 [G5707] besought G846 him,

  3 G154 [G5734] And desired G5485 favour G2596 against G846 him, G3704 that G3343 [G5667] he would send for G846 him G1519 to G2419 Jerusalem, G4160 [G5723] laying G1747 wait G2596 in G3598 the way G337 [G5629] to kill G846 him.

  4 G3303 G3767 But G5347 Festus G611 [G5662] answered, G3972 that Paul G5083 [G5745] should be kept G1722 at G2542 Caesarea, G1161 and G1438 that he himself G3195 [G5721] would G1607 G1722 [G5738] depart G5034 shortly there.

  5 G3767 Let them therefore, G5346 [G5748] said G1722 he, who among G5213 you G1415 are able, G4782 [G5631] go down with G2723 [G5720] me, and accuse G846 this G435 man, G1536 0 if G2076 [G5748] there is G1536 anything G1722 in G5129 him.

  6 G1161 And G1304 [G5660] when he had tarried G1722 among G846 them G4119 more G2228 than G1176 ten G2250 days, G2597 [G5631] he went down G1519 to G2542 Caesarea; G1887 and the next day G2523 [G5660] sitting G1909 on G968 the judgment seat G2753 [G5656] commanded G3972 Paul G71 [G5683] to be led.

  7 G1161 And G846 when he G3854 [G5637] had come, G2453 the Judeans G2597 [G5761] who came down G575 from G2414 Jerusalem G4026 [G5627] stood around, G2532 and G5342 [G5723] laid G4183 many G926 and grievous G157 complaints G2596 against G3972 Paul, G3739 which G2480 [G5707] they could G3756 not G584 [G5658] prove.

  8 G626 [G5740] While he was making his defense G846 for himself G3754 that, G3777 neither G1519 against G3551 the law G3588 of the G2453 Judeans, G3777 neither G1519 against G3588 the G2411 temple, G3777 nor yet G1519 against G2541 Caesar, G264 [G5627] have I sinned G5100 in anything.

  9 G1161 But G5347 Festus, G2309 [G5723] willing G2698 [G5641] to do G2453 the Judeans G5485 a favour, G611 [G5679] answered G3972 Paul, G2036 [G5627] and said, G2309 [G5719] Wilt thou G305 [G5631] go G1519 to G2414 Jerusalem, G1563 and there G2919 [G5745] be judged G4012 concerning G5130 these things G1909 before G1700 me?

  10 G1161 Then G2036 [G5627] said G3972 Paul, G1510 G2476 [G5748] I stand G1909 at G2541 Caesar's G968 judgment seat, G3757 where G3165 I G1163 [G5748] ought G2919 [G5745] to be judged: G2453 to the Judeans G91 0 have I done G3762 no G91 [G5656] wrong, G5613 G2532 as G4771 thou G2566 very well G1921 [G5719] knowest.

  11 G1063 For G1487 G3303 if G91 [G5719] I am an offender, G2532 or G4238 [G5758] have committed G5100 any thing G514 worthy G2288 of death, G3868 [G5736] I refuse G3756 not G599 [G5629] to die: G1161 but G1487 if G2076 [G5748] there is G3762 none G3739 of these things G3778 of which these G2723 [G5719] accuse G3450 me, G3762 no man G1410 [G5736] may G5483 [G5664] deliver G3165 me G846 to them. G1941 [G5731] I appeal to G2541 Caesar.

  12 G5119 Then G5347 Festus, G4814 [G5660] when he had conferred G3326 with G4824 the council, G611 [G5662] answered, G1941 [G5764] Hast thou appealed to G2541 Caesar? G1909 to G2541 Caesar G4198 [G5695] thou shalt go.

  13 G1161 And G1230 [G5637] after G5100 certain G2250 days G935 king G67 Agrippa G2532 and G959 Bernice G2658 [G5656] came G1519 to G2542 Caesarea G782 [G5697] to greet G5347 Festus.

  14 G1161 And G5613 when G1304 [G5707] they had been G1563 there G4119 many G2250 days, G5347 Festus G394 [G5639] declared G3972 Paul's G2596 cause G935 to the king, G3004 [G5723] saying, G2076 [G5748] There is G5100 a certain G435 man G2641 [G5772] left G1198 in bonds G5259 by G5344 Felix:

  15 G4012 About G3739 whom, G1096 0 when G3450 I G1096 [G5637] was G1519 at G2414 Jerusalem, G749 the chief priests G2532 and G4245 the elders G2453 of the Judeans G1718 [G5656] informed G154 [G5734] me, desiring G1349 to have judgment G2596 against G846 him.

  16 G4314 To G3739 whom G611 [G5662] I answered, G3754   G2076 [G5748] It is G3756 not G1485 the manner G4514 of the Romans G5483 [G5738] to deliver G5100 any G444 man G1519 to G684 loss, G4250 G2228 before G2723 [G5746] he who is accused G2192 [G5722] hath G2725 the accusers G2596 G4383 face to face, G5037   G2983 [G5630] and hath G5117 opportunity G627 to answer for himself G4012 concerning G1462 the charge laid against him.

  17 G3767 Therefore, G846 they G4905 [G5631] having come G1759 here, G4160 [G5671] without G3367 any G311 delay G3588 on the G1836 next day, G2523 [G5660] sitting G1909 upon G3588 the G968 judgment seat, G2753 [G5656] I commanded G435 the man G71 [G5683] to be brought forth.

  18 G4012 Against G3739 whom G2725 when the accusers G2476 [G5685] stood up, G2018 [G5707] they brought G3762 no G156 accusation G3739 of such things as G1473 I G5282 [G5707] supposed:

  20 G1161 And G1473 because I G639 [G5734] was perplexed G1519 concerning G5127 such G4012 manner G2214 of questions, G3004 [G5707] I asked G1487 him whether G1014 [G5739] he would G4198 [G5738] go G1519 to G2419 Jerusalem, G2546 and there G2919 [G5745] be judged G4012 concerning G5130 these matters.

  21 G1161 But G3972 when Paul G1941 [G5671] had appealed G5083 G846 [G5683] to be reserved G1519 to G1233 the hearing G4575 of Augustus, G2753 [G5656] I commanded G846 him G5083 [G5745] to be kept G2193 G3739 till G3992 [G5661] I might send G846 him G4314 to G2541 Caesar.

  22 G1161 Then G67 Agrippa G5346 [G5713] said G4314 to G5347 Festus, G1014 [G5711] I would G2532 also G191 [G5658] hear G444 the man G846 myself. G839 To morrow, G1161   G5346 [G5748] said G191 [G5695] he, thou shalt hear G846 him.

  23 G1887 And on the next day, G3767 when G67 Agrippa G2064 [G5631] had come, G2532 and G959 Bernice, G3326 with G4183 great G5325 pomp, G2532 and G1525 [G5631] had entered G1519 into G201 the place of hearing, G4862 G5037 with G5506 the chief captains, G2532 and G2596 G1851 principal G435 men G5607 [G5752] of G4172 the city, G2532 at G2753 [G5660] the command G5347 of Festus G3972 Paul G71 [G5681] was brought forth.

  24 G2532 And G5347 Festus G5346 [G5748] said, G935 King G67 Agrippa, G2532 and G3956 all G435 men G3588 who G4840 [G5752] are here present G2254 with us, G2334 [G5719] ye see G5126 this man, G4012 about G3739 whom G3956 all G4128 the multitude G2453 of the Judeans G1793 [G5627] have dealt G3427 with me, G5037 both G1722 at G2414 Jerusalem, G2532 and G1759 also here, G1916 [G5723] crying G1163 [G5750] that he ought G3361 not G2198 [G5721] to live G3371 any longer.

  25 G1161 But G1473 when I G2638 [G5642] found G846 that he G4238 [G5760] had committed G3367 nothing G514 worthy G2288 of death, G2532 G1161 and G846 that he himself G5127 hath appealed G1941 [G5671] to G4575 Augustus, G2919 [G5656] I have determined G3992 [G5721] to send G846 him.

  26 G4012 Of G3739 whom G2192 [G5719] I have G3756 no G804 certain G5100 thing G1125 [G5658] to write G2962 to my lord. G1352 Therefore G4254 0 I have brought G846 him G4254 [G5627] forth G1909 before G5216 you, G2532 and G3122 especially G1909 before G4675 thee, G935 O king G67 Agrippa, G3704 that, G351 after examination G1096 [G5637] had, G2192 [G5632] I may have G5100 somewhat G1125 [G5658] to write.

  27 G1063 For G1380 [G5719] it seemeth G3427 to me G249 unreasonable G3992 [G5723] to send G1198 a prisoner, G2532 and G3361 not also G4591 [G5658] to signify G156 the charges G2596 laid against G846 him.
