13 H3212 [H8798] Go H935 [H8798] and enter in H4428 to king H1732 David, H559 [H8804] and say H113 to him, Didst not thou, my sovereign, H4428 O king, H7650 [H8738] swear H519 to thy handmaid, H559 [H8800] saying, H3588 Assuredly H8010 Solomon H1121 thy son H4427 [H8799] shall reign H310 after H3427 [H8799] me, and he shall sit H3678 upon my throne? H138 why then doth Adonijah H4427 [H8804] reign?

15 H1339 And Bathsheba H935 [H8799] went H4428 to the king H2315 into the chamber: H4428 and the king H3966 was very H2204 [H8804] old; H49 and Abishag H7767 the Shunammite H8334 [H8764] ministered H4428 to the king.

16 H1339 And Bathsheba H6915 [H8799] bowed, H7812 [H8691] and bowed down H4428 to the king. H4428 And the king H559 [H8799] said, What wouldest thou?

17 H559 [H8799] And she said H113 to him, My sovereign, H7650 [H8738] thou didst swear H3068 by the LORD H430 thy God H519 to thy handmaid, H8010 saying, Assuredly Solomon H1121 thy son H4427 [H8799] shall reign H310 after H3427 [H8799] me, and he shall sit H3678 upon my throne.
