3361 μη May it not 1096 γένοιτο be.   6:16   3756-1492 ουκ οίδατε Do you not know 3754 ότι that 3739 ω to whom 3935.1 παριστάνετε you present 1438 εαυτούς yourselves 1401 δούλους servants 1519 εις to 5218 υπακοήν obedience, 1401 δούλοί servants 1510.2.5 εστε you are 3739 ω to whom 5219 υπακούετε you obey; 2273 ήτοι either 266 αμαρτίας sin 1519 εις unto 2288 θάνατον death, 2228 η or 5218 υπακοής obedience 1519 εις unto 1343 δικαιοσύνην righteousness?   6:17   5484-1161 χάρις δε But favor 3588 τω to 2316 θεώ God, 3754 ότι for 1510.7.5 ήτε you were 1401 δούλοι slaves 3588 της   266 αμαρτίας of sin, 5219-1161 υπηκούσατε δε but you obeyed 1537 εκ from 2588 καρδίας the heart 1519 εις in 3739 ον which 3860 παρεδόθητε [³you were delivered by 5179 τύπον ¹model 1322 διδαχής ²of teaching].   6:18   1659-1161 ελευθερωθέντες δε And having been set free 575 από from 3588 της   266 αμαρτίας sin, 1402 εδουλώθητε you were enslaved 3588 τη to 1343 δικαιοσύνη righteousness.   6:19   442 ανθρώπινον Humanly 3004 λέγω I speak, 1223 διά on account of 3588 την the 769 ασθένειαν weakness 3588 της   4561-1473 σαρκός υμών of your flesh; 5618-1063 ώσπερ γαρ for as 3936 παρεστήσατε you rendered 3588 τα   3196-1473 μέλη υμών your members 1400 δούλα subservient 3588 τη   167 ακαθαρσία to uncleanness 2532 και and 3588 τη   458 ανομία to lawlessness 1519 εις unto 3588 την   458 ανομίαν lawlessness; 3779 ούτως so 3568 νυν now 3936 παρεστήσατε render 3588 τα   3196-1473 μέλη υμών your members 1400 δούλα subservient 3588 τη to the 1343 δικαιοσύνη righteousness 1519 εις unto 38 αγιασμόν sanctification!   6:20   3753-1063 ότε γαρ For when 1401-1510.7.5 δούλοι ήτε you were servants 3588 της   266 αμαρτίας of sin, 1658-1510.7.5 ελεύθεροι ήτε you were free 3588 τη in the 1343 δικαιοσύνη righteousness.   6:21   5100 τίνα What 3767-2590 ουν καρπόν fruit therefore 2192 είχετε had you 5119 τότε then, 1909-3739 εφ οις in the things in which 3568 νυν now 1870 επαισχύνεσθε you are ashamed? 3588-1063 το γαρ For the 5056 τέλος end 1565 εκείνων of those things 2288 θάνατος is death.   6:22   3568-1161 νυνί δε But now 1659 ελευθερωθέντες having been set free 575 από from 3588 της the 266 αμαρτίας sin, 1402-1161 δουλωθέντες δε and having been enslaved 3588 τω to 2316 θεώ God, 2192 έχετε you have 3588 τον   2590-1473 καρπόν υμών your fruit 1519 εις unto 38 αγιασμόν sanctification, 3588-1161 το δε and the 5056 τέλος end -- 2222 ζωήν life 166 αιώνιον eternal.   6:23   3588-1063 τα γαρ For the 3800 οψώνια rations 3588 της   266 αμαρτίας of sin 2288 θάνατος are death; 3588-1161 το δε but the 5486 χάρισμα favor 3588 του   2316 θεού of God 2222 ζωή is life 166 αιώνιος eternal 1722 εν in 5547 χριστώ Christ * Ιησού Jesus 3588 τω   2962-1473 κυρίω ημών our Lord.

  7:1   2228 η Or 50 αγνοείτε do you not know, 80 αδελφοί brethren, 1097-1063 γινώσκουσιν γαρ (for to the ones knowing 3551 νόμον law 2980 λαλώ I speak), 3754 ότι that 3588 ο the 3551 νόμος law 2961 κυριεύει dominates 3588 του the 444 ανθρώπου man 1909 εφ΄ over 3745 όσον as much 5550 χρόνον time 2198 ζη as he lives?   7:2   3588-1063 η γαρ For the 5220 ύπανδρος married 1135 γυνή woman 3588 τω [³to the 2198 ζώντι ⁴living 435 ανδρί ⁵husband 1210 δέδεται ¹is tied 3551 νόμω ²by law]. 1437-1161 εάν δε But if 599 αποθάνη [³should die 3588 ο ¹the 435 ανήρ ²husband], 2673 κατήργηται she is cleared 575 από from 3588 του the 3551 νόμου law 3588 του of the 435 ανδρός husband.   7:3   686 άρα Surely 3767 ούν then 2198 ζώντος [³living 3588 του ¹with the 435 ανδρός ²husband], 3428 μοιχαλίς [²as an adulteress 5537 χρηματίσει ¹she shall be treated], 1437 εάν if 1096 γένηται she becomes 435 ανδρί [²man 2087 ετέρω ¹to another]; 1437-1161 εάν δε but if 599 αποθάνη [³should die 3588 ο ¹the 435 ανήρ ²husband], 1658-1510.2.3 ελευθέρα εστίν she is free 575 από from 3588 του the 3551 νόμου law, 3588 του   3361-1510.1-1473 μη είναι αυτήν for her to not be 3428 μοιχαλίδα an adulteress, 1096 γενομένην having become 435 ανδρί [²man 2087 ετέρω ¹to another].   7:4   5620 ώστε So that, 80-1473 αδελφοί μου my brethren, 2532 και also 1473 υμείς you 2289 εθανατώθητε were put to death 3588 τω to the 3551 νόμω law 1223 διά through 3588 του the 4983 σώματος body 3588 του of the 5547 χριστού Christ; 1519 εις for 3588 το   1096-1473 γενέσθαι υμάς you to become 2087 ετέρω to another, 3588 τω to the one 1537 εκ [²from 3498 νεκρών ³the dead 1453 εγερθέντι ¹being arisen], 2443 ίνα that 2592 καρποφορήσωμεν we should bear fruit 3588 τω to 2316 θεώ God.   7:5   3753-1063 ότε γαρ For when 1510.7.4 ήμεν we were 1722 εν in 3588 τη the 4561 σαρκί flesh, 3588 τα the 3804 παθήματα passions 3588 των of the 266 αμαρτιών sins, 3588 τα the ones 1223 διά through 3588 του the 3551 νόμου law 1754 ενηργείτο exerted energy 1722 εν in 3588 τοις   3196-1473 μέλεσιν ημών our members 1519 εις for 3588 το the 2592 καρποφορήσαι bearing fruit 3588 τω to 2288 θανάτω death.   7:6   3568-1161 νυνί δε But now 2673 κατηργήθημεν we were cleared 575 από from 3588 του the 3551 νόμου law, 599 αποθανόντες having died 1722 εν by 3739 ω which 2722 κατειχόμεθα we were held; 5620 ώστε so as for 1398-1473 δουλεύειν ημάς us to serve 1722 εν in 2538 καινότητι newness 4151 πνεύματος of spirit, 2532 και and 3756 ου not 3821 παλαιότητι oldness 1121 γράμματος of contract.   7:7   5100 τι What 3767 ούν then 2046 ερούμεν shall we say? 3588 ο Is the 3551 νόμος law 266 αμαρτία sin? 3361 μη May it not 1096 γένοιτο be. 235 αλλά But 3588 την the 266 αμαρτίαν sin 3756-1097 ουκ έγνων I knew not, 1508 ει μη except 1223 διά through 3551 νόμου the law; 3588 την   5037-1063 τε γαρ for also 1939 επιθυμίαν lust 3756-1492 ουκ ήδειν I knew not, 1508 ει μη except 3588 ο the 3551 νόμος law 3004 έλεγεν said, 3756 ουκ You shall not 1937 επιθυμήσεις lust.   7:8   874 αφορμήν [⁴an opportunity 1161 δε ¹But 2983 λαβούσα ³taking 3588 η   266 αμαρτία ²sin] 1223 διά through 3588 της the 1785 εντολής commandment, 2716 κατειργάσατο manufactured 1722 εν in 1473 εμοί me 3956 πάσαν every 1939 επιθυμίαν lust; 5565-1063 χωρίς γαρ for separate from 3551 νόμου the law 266 αμαρτία sin 3498 νεκρά was dead;   7:9   1473-1161 εγώ δε and I 2198 έζων was alive 5565 χωρίς separate from 3551 νόμου the law 4218 ποτέ at some time or other; 2064 ελθούσης [⁴having come 1161 δε ¹but 3588 της ²the 1785 εντολής ³commandment], 3588 η   266 αμαρτία sin 326 ανέζησεν was revived, 1473-1161 εγώ δε and I 599 απέθανον died.   7:10   2532 και And 2147 ευρέθη [⁵was found 1473 μοι ⁶by me 3588 η ¹the 1785 εντολή ²commandment 3588 η   1519 εις ³for 2222 ζωήν ⁴life], 3778 αύτη for this 1519 εις to be to 2288 θάνατον death.   7:11   3588 η   1063 γαρ For 266 αμαρτία sin 874 αφορμήν [²opportunity 2983 λαβούσα ¹having taken] 1223 διά through 3588 της the 1785 εντολής commandment, 1818 εξηπάτησέ cheated 1473 με me, 2532 και and 1223 δι΄ through 1473 αυτής it 615 απέκτεινεν killed me.   7:12   5620 ώστε So that 3588 ο the 3303-3551 μεν νόμος law indeed 39 άγιος is holy, 2532 και and 3588 η the 1785 εντολή commandment 39 αγία holy, 2532 και and 1342 δικαία just, 2532 και and 18 αγαθή good.   7:13   3588 το The thing 3767 ούν then 18 αγαθόν good, 1473 εμοί [³to me 1096 γέγονε ¹has it become 2288 θάνατος ²death]? 3361 μη May it not 1096 γένοιτο be. 235 αλλά But 3588 η the 266 αμαρτία sin, 2443 ίνα that 5316 φανή it should appear 266 αμαρτία sin, 1223 διά through 3588 του the 18 αγαθού good 1473 μοι in me 2716 κατεργαζομένη manufacturing 2288 θάνατον death, 2443 ίνα that 1096 γένηται [²should become 2596-5236 καθ΄ υπερβολήν ³excessively 268 αμαρτωλός ⁴sinful 3588 η   266 αμαρτία ¹sin] 1223 διά through 3588 της the 1785 εντολής commandment.   7:14   1492-1063 οίδαμεν γαρ For we know 3754 ότι that 3588 ο the 3551 νόμος law 4152-1510.2.3 πνευματικός εστιν is spiritual; 1473-1161 εγώ δε but I 4559-1510.2.1 σαρκικός ειμι am fleshly, 4097 πεπραμένος having been sold 5259 υπό under 3588 την the 266 αμαρτίαν sin.   7:15   3739-1063 ο γαρ For what 2716 κατεργάζομαι I manufacture, 3756-1097 ου γινώσκω I do not know; 3756-1063 ου γαρ for not 3739 ο what 2309 θέλω I want to do, 3778 τούτο this 4238 πράσσω I practice; 235 αλλ΄ and 3739 ο what 3404 μισώ I detest, 3778 τούτο this 4160 ποιώ I do.   7:16   1487-1161 ει δε But if 3739 ο what 3756 ου I do not 2309 θέλω want to do, 3778 τούτο this 4160 ποιώ I do, 4852 σύμφημι then I assent 3588 τω to the 3551 νόμω law 3754 ότι that 2570 καλός it is good.   7:17   3568-1161 νυνί δε But now, 3765 ουκέτι no longer 1473 εγώ I 2716 κατεργάζομαι manufacture 1473 αυτό it, 237.1 αλλ΄ η but it is 3611 οικούσα [²living 1722 εν ³in 1473 εμοί ⁴me 266 αμαρτία ¹the sin].   7:18   1492-1063 οίδα γαρ For I know 3754 ότι that 3756 ουκ there does not 3611 οικεί live 1722 εν in 1473 εμοί me 5123 τουτ΄ έστιν (that is to say 1722 εν in 3588 τη   4561-1473 σαρκί μου my flesh) 18 αγαθόν good. 3588-1063 το γαρ For the 2309 θέλειν will 3873 παράκειταί is present with 1473 μοι me, 3588-1161 το δε but the 2716 κατεργάζεσθαι manufacturing 3588 το the 2570 καλόν good 3756 ουχ I do not 2147 ευρίσκω find.   7:19   3756 ου [³not do 1063 γαρ ¹For 3739 ο ⁵which 2309 θέλω ⁶I want to do 4160 ποιώ ²I do 18 αγαθόν ⁴the good], 235 αλλ΄ but 3739 ο [²which 3756 ου ³I do not 2309 θέλω ⁴want to do 2556 κακόν ¹the evil], 3778 τούτο this 4238 πράσσω I do.   7:20   1487-1161 ει δε But if 3739 ο what 3756 ου [²do not 2309 θέλω ³want to do 1473 εγώ ¹I], 3778 τούτο this 4160 ποιώ I do; 3765 ουκέτι no longer 1473 εγώ I 2716 κατεργάζομαι manufacture 1473 αυτό it, 237.1 αλλ΄ η but it is 3611 οικούσα [²living 1722 εν ³in 1473 εμοί ⁴me 266 αμαρτία ¹sin].   7:21   2147 ευρίσκω I find 686 άρα then 3588 τον the 3551 νόμον law, 3588 τω in the one 2309 θέλοντι wanting 1473 εμοί in me 4160 ποιείν to do 3588 το the 2570 καλόν good, 3754 ότι that 1473 εμοί with me 3588 το the 2556 κακόν evil 3873 παράκειται is present.   7:22   4913-1063 συνήδομαι γαρ For I delight 3588 τω in the 3551 νόμω law 3588 του   2316 θεού of God 2596 κατά according to 3588 τον the 2080 έσω inside 444 άνθρωπον man.   7:23   991-1161 βλέπω δε But I see 2087 έτερον another 3551 νόμον law 1722 εν in 3588 τοις   3196-1473 μέλεσί μου my members, 497 αντιστρατευόμενον undertaking an expedition against 3588 τω the 3551 νόμω law 3588 του   3563-1473 νοός μου of my mind, 2532 και and 163 αιχμαλωτίζοντά captivating 1473 με me 3588 τω to the 3551 νόμω law 3588 της of the 266 αμαρτίας sin, 3588 τω to the one 1510.6 όντι being 1722 εν in 3588 τοις   3196-1473 μέλεσί μου my members.   7:24   5005 ταλαίπωρος O miserable 1473-444 εγώ άνθρωπος man am I. 5100 τις Who 1473-4506 με ρύσεται shall rescue me 1537 εκ from 3588 του   4983 σώματος [²body 3588 του   2288 θανάτου ³of death 3778 τούτου ¹this]?   7:25   2168 ευχαριστώ I give thanks 3588 τω to 2316 θεώ God 1223 διά because of * Ιησού Jesus 5547 χριστού Christ 3588 του   2962-1473 κυρίου ημών our Lord. 686 άρα It is so 3767 ούν then, 1473-1473 αυτός εγώ I myself 3588-3303 τω μεν indeed to the 3563 νοϊ mind 1398 δουλεύω serve 3551 νόμω the law 2316 θεού of God, 3588-1161 τη δε but to the 4561 σαρκί flesh 3551 νόμω the law 266 αμαρτίας of sin.

  8:1   3762 ουδέν In nothing 686 άρα then 3568 νυν is there now 2631 κατάκριμα condemnation 3588 τοις to the ones 1722 εν in 5547 χριστώ Christ * Ιησού Jesus, 3361 μη not 2596 κατά [²according to 4561 σάρκα ³the flesh 4043 περιπατούσιν ¹walking], 235 αλλά but 2596 κατά according to 4151 πνεύμα spirit.   8:2   3588-1063 ο γαρ For the 3551 νόμος law 3588 του of the 4151 πνεύματος spirit 3588 της of the 2222 ζωής life 1722 εν in 5547 χριστώ Christ * Ιησού Jesus 1659 ηλευθέρωσέ freed 1473 με me 575 από from 3588 του the 3551 νόμου law 3588 της of the 266 αμαρτίας sin 2532 και and 3588 του   2288 θανάτου of death.   8:3   3588-1063 το γαρ For the 102 αδύνατον powerlessness 3588 του of the 3551 νόμου law 1722 εν in 3739 ω which 770 ησθένει it was weak 1223 διά through 3588 της the 4561 σαρκός flesh, 3588 ο   2316 θεός God 3588 τον   1438 εαυτού [²his own 5207 υιόν ³son 3992 πέμψας ¹sent forth] 1722 εν in 3667 ομοιώματι the likeness 4561 σαρκός of flesh 266 αμαρτίας of sin, 2532 και and 4012 περί concerning 266 αμαρτίας sin 2632 κατέκρινε condemned 3588 την the 266 αμαρτίαν sin 1722 εν in 3588 τη the 4561 σαρκί flesh,   8:4   2443 ίνα that 3588 το the 1345 δικαίωμα ordinance 3588 του of the 3551 νόμου law 4137 πληρωθή should be fulfilled 1722 εν in 1473 ημίν us, 3588 τοις to the ones 3361 μη not 2596 κατά [²according to 4561 σάρκα ³flesh 4043 περιπατούσιν ¹walking], 235 αλλ΄ but 2596 κατά according to 4151 πνεύμα spirit.   8:5   3588-1063 οι γαρ For the ones 2596 κατά [²according to 4561 σάρκα ³flesh 1510.6 όντες ¹being] 3588 τα [²the things 3588 της ³of the 4561 σαρκός ⁴flesh 5426 φρονούσιν ¹think]; 3588-1161 οι δε but the ones 2596 κατά according to 4151 πνεύμα spirit 3588 τα think the things 3588 του of the 4151 πνεύματος spirit.   8:6   3588-1063 το γαρ For the 5427 φρόνημα thought 3588 της of the 4561 σαρκός flesh 2288 θάνατος is death, 3588-1161 το δε but the 5427 φρόνημα thought 3588 του of the 4151 πνεύματος spirit 2222 ζωή is life 2532 και and 1515 ειρήνη peace.   8:7   1360 διότι Because 3588 το the 5427 φρόνημα thought 3588 της of the 4561 σαρκός flesh 2189 έχθρα is hatred 1519 εις to 2316 θεόν God;
