  23:12   1096-1161 γενομένης δε And becoming 2250 ημέρας day, 4160 ποιήσαντές [⁴having made 5100 τινες ¹some 3588 των ²of the * Ιουδαίων ³Jews] 4963 συστροφήν a confederacy, 332 ανεθεμάτισαν devoted 1438 εαυτούς themselves, 3004 λέγοντες saying 3383 μη τε to neither 2068 φαγείν eat 3383 μη τε nor 4095 πιείν drink 2193-3739 έως ου until 615 αποκτείνωσι they should kill 3588 τον   * Παύλον Paul.   23:13   1510.7.6 ήσαν [⁶were 1161 δε ¹And 4183 πλείους ⁷more than 5062 τεσσαράκοντα ⁸forty 3588 οι ²the ones 3778 ταύτην ⁴this 3588 την   4945 συνωμοσίαν ⁵conspiracy 4160 πεποιηκότες ³making];   23:14   3748 οίτινες who 4334 προσελθόντες having come forward 3588 τοις to the 749 αρχιερεύσι chief priests 2532 και and 3588 τοις to the 4245 πρεσβυτέροις elders, 2036 είπον said, 331 αναθέματι As an offering, 332 ανεθεματίσαμεν we devoted 1438 εαυτούς ourselves 3367 μηδενός to not [²one thing 1089 γεύσασθαι ¹taste] 2193 έως until 3739 ου of which time 615 αποκτείνωμεν we should kill 3588 τον   * Παύλον Paul.   23:15   3568 νυν Now 3767 ούν then 1473 υμείς you 1718 εμφανίσατε reveal yourselves 3588 τω to the 5506 χιλιάρχω commander 4862 συν with 3588 τω the 4892 συνεδρίω sanhedrin, 3704 όπως so that 839 αύριον tomorrow 1473-2609 αυτόν καταγάγη he should lead him 4314 προς to 1473 υμάς you, 5613 ως as 3195 μέλλοντας being about 1231 διαγινώσκειν to determine 199 ακριβέστερον more exactly 3588 τα the things 4012 περί concerning 1473 αυτού him; 1473-1161 ημείς δε and we, 4253 προ before 3588 του   1448-1473 εγγίσαι αυτόν his approaching, 2092-1510.2.4 έτοιμοί εσμεν are prepared 3588 του   337 ανελείν to do away with 1473 αυτόν him.   23:16   191 ακούσας [⁷having heard 1161 δε ¹And 3588 ο ²the 5207 υιός ³son 3588 της ⁴of the 79 αδελφής ⁵sister * Παύλον ⁶of Paul] 3588 το the 1749 ένεδρον ambush, 3854 παραγενόμενος having come 2532 και and 1525 εισελθών entered 1519 εις into 3588 την the 3925 παρεμβολήν camp, 518 απήγγειλε reported it 3588 τω   * Παύλω to Paul.   23:17   4341 προσκαλεσάμενος [³having called 1161 δε ¹And 3588 ο   * Παύλος ²Paul] 1520 ένα one 3588 των of the 1543 εκατοντάρχων centurions, 5346 έφη said, 3588 τον   3494-3778 νεανίαν τούτον [²this young man 520 απάγαγε ¹Take] 4314 προς to 3588 τον the 5506 χιλίαρχον commander, 2192-1063 έχει γαρ for he has 5100 τι something 518 απαγγείλαι to report 1473 αυτώ to him!   23:18   3588 ο   3303-3767 μεν ουν Then indeed 3880 παραλαβών having taken 1473 αυτόν him, 71 ήγαγε he brought him 4314 προς to 3588 τον the 5506 χιλίαρχον commander, 2532 και and 5346 φησίν says, 3588 ο The 1198 δέσμιος prisoner * Παύλος Paul 4341 προσκαλεσάμενός having called 1473 με me, 2065 ηρώτησε asked me 3778 τούτον [²this 3588 τον   3494 νεανίαν ³young man 71 αγαγείν ¹to lead] 4314 προς to 1473 σε you, 2192 έχοντά having 5100 τι something 2980 λαλήσαί to say 1473 σοι to you.   23:19   1949 επιλαβόμενος [⁴having taken hold of 1161 δε ¹And 3588 της   5495-1473 χειρός αυτού ⁵his hand 3588 ο ²the 5506 χιλίαρχος ³commander], 2532 και and 402 αναχωρήσας having withdrawn 2596-2398 κατ΄ ιδίαν in private 4441 επυνθάνετο inquired, 5100 τι What 1510.2.3 εστιν is it 3739 ο which 2192 έχεις you have 518 απαγγείλαί to report 1473 μοι to me?   23:20   2036-1161 είπε δε And he said 3754 ότι that, 3588 οι The * Ιουδαίοι Jews 4934 συνέθεντο agreed 3588 του   2065 ερωτήσαί to ask 1473 σε you 3704 όπως that 839 αύριον tomorrow 1519 εις [³unto 3588 το ⁴the 4892 συνέδριον ⁵sanhedrin 2609 καταγάγης ¹you should lead 3588 τον   * Παύλον ²Paul], 5613 ως as 3195 μέλλοντες being about 5100 τι something 199 ακριβέστερον to more exactly 4441 πυνθάνεσθαι inquire about 4012 περί concerning 1473 αυτού him.   23:21   1473 συ You 3767 ούν then 3361 μη should not 3982 πεισθής be persuaded 1473 αυτοίς by them; 1748-1063 ενεδρεύουσι γαρ for they lie in wait for 1473 αυτόν him, 1537 εξ [⁴of 1473 αυτών ⁵them 435 άνδρες ³men 4183 πλείους ¹more than 5062 τεσσαράκοντα ²forty], 3748 οίτινες who 332 ανεθεμάτισαν devoted 1438 εαυτούς themselves 3383 μήτε to neither 2068 φαγείν eat 3383 μήτε nor 4095 πιείν drink 2193 έως until 3739 ου of which time 337 ανέλωσιν they should do away with 1473 αυτόν him; 2532 και and 3568 νυν now 2092-1510.2.6 έτοιμοί εισι they are ready, 4327 προσδεχόμενοι waiting 3588 την   575 από [²from 1473 σου ³you 1860 επαγγελίαν ¹a promise].   23:22   3588-3303-3767 ο μεν ουν Then the 5506 χιλίαρχος commander 630 απέλυσε dismissed 3588 τον the 3494 νεανίαν young man, 3853 παραγγείλας exhorting, saying, 3367 μηδενί [²to no one 1583 εκλαλήσαι ¹Divulge] 3754 ότι that 3778 ταύτα these things 1718 ενεφάνισας were revealed 4314 προς to 1473 με me.
