¹ Wisdom hath builded her house, She hath hewn out her pillars—seven.

² And he buildeth the house of the forest of Lebanon; a hundred cubits is its length, and fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height, on four rows of cedar pillars, and cedar-beams on the pillars; ³ and it is covered with cedar above, on the sides that are on the forty and five pillars, fifteen in the row.

⁶ And the porch of the pillars he hath made; fifty cubits its length, and thirty cubits its breadth, and the porch is before them, and pillars and a thick place are before them.

²¹ And he raiseth up the pillars for the porch of the temple, and he raiseth up the right pillar, and calleth its name Jachin, and he raiseth up the left pillar, and calleth its name Boaz;

¹⁸ `And I also say to thee, that thou art a rock, and upon this rock I will build my assembly, and gates of Hades shall not prevail against it;

⁹ for of God we are fellow-workmen; God's tillage, God's building ye are. ¹⁰ According to the grace of God that was given to me, as a wise master-builder, a foundation I have laid, and another doth build on it,
¹¹ for other foundation no one is able to lay except that which is laid, which is Jesus the Christ; ¹² and if any one doth build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— ¹³ of each the work shall become manifest, for the day shall declare it, because in fire it is revealed, and the work of each, what kind it is, the fire shall prove; ¹⁴ if of any one the work doth remain that he built on it, a wage he shall receive; ¹⁵ if of any the work is burned up, he shall suffer loss; and himself shall be saved, but so as through fire.

⁹ and having known the grace that was given to me, James, and Cephas, and John, who were esteemed to be pillars, a right hand of fellowship they did give to me, and to Barnabas, that we to the nations, and they to the circumcision may go,

²⁰ being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being chief corner-stone, ²¹ in whom all the building fitly framed together doth increase to an holy sanctuary in the Lord, ²² in whom also ye are builded together, for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

¹⁵ and if I delay, that thou mayest know how it behoveth thee to conduct thyself in the house of God, which is an assembly of the living God—a pillar and foundation of the truth,

³ for of more glory than Moses hath this one been counted worthy, inasmuch as more honour than the house hath he who doth build it, ⁴ for every house is builded by some one, and He who the all things did build is God, ⁵ and Moses indeed was stedfast in all his house, as an attendant, for a testimony of those things that were to be spoken, ⁶ and Christ, as a Son over his house, whose house are we, if the boldness and the rejoicing of the hope unto the end we hold fast.

⁵ and ye yourselves, as living stones, are built up, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ Wherefore, also, it is contained in the Writing: `Lo, I lay in Zion a chief corner-stone, choice, precious, and he who is believing on him may not be put to shame;'

¹² He who is overcoming—I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, and without he may not go any more, and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, that doth come down out of the heaven from my God—also my new name.
