²² And it cometh to pass when the camels have finished drinking, that the man taketh a golden ring (whose weight is a bekah), and two bracelets for her hands (whose weight is ten bekahs of gold),

⁹ in like manner also the women, in becoming apparel, with modesty and sobriety to adorn themselves, not in braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or garments of great price, ¹⁰ but—which becometh women professing godly piety—through good works.

³ whose adorning—let it not be that which is outward, of plaiting of hair, and of putting around of things of gold, or of putting on of garments,

⁸ And finally, being all of one mind, having fellow-feeling, loving as brethren, compassionate, courteous,
