¹² And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged by the things written in the books, according to their works.

²⁷ For the Son of man will come in the glory of his father, with his angels, and then he will recompense every one according to his practice.

²⁰ However rejoice not in this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice that your names are written in heaven.

²⁸ Wonder not at this; for the time is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, ²⁹ and shall come forth, they that have done good to the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil to the resurrection of damnation.

²⁵ Jesus then told her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth on me, though he were dead, shall live again. ²⁶ And every one that is alive, and believeth in me, shall never die.

¹⁵ having hope in God, (which they themselves also expect) that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

⁶ who will render to every one according to his works:

¹⁰ But why dost thou censure thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? since we shall all stand before the tribunal of Christ; ¹¹ for it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. ¹² So that every one of us shall give an account of himself to God.

⁵ Wherefore judge nothing before the time; even until the Lord come, who will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every one have praise from God.

²¹ for as by man came death, by man cometh also the resurrection of the dead. ²² For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. ²³ But each in their proper order: the first-fruits, Christ; afterwards they that are Christ's, at his coming.

¹⁰ For we must all appear before the tribunal of Christ, that every one may receive for the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it were good or bad.

³ And I entreat thee likewise, my faithful collegue, to assist them, for they laboured with me in the gospel, and Clement also, and my other fellow-laborers, whose names are in the book of life.

¹⁵ For this we tell you in the word of the Lord, that we who shall be living and remain to the coming of the Lord, shall not be before those that are asleep. ¹⁶ For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with acclamation, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; ¹⁷ then we who are living and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we for ever be with the Lord.

²³ and I will cut off her children by death; and all the churches shall know, that I am He who searcheth the reins and hearts, and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

⁵ He that overcometh shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from the book of life; but I will own his name before my Father, and before his angels.

¹⁸ The nations were enraged, but thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and to give a reward to thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to those that fear thy name, small and great; and to destroy them that destroy the earth.

⁸ So that all who dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

⁸ The beast, which thou sawest, was, and is not; but will rise out of the abyss, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth (whose names are not written on the book of life from the foundation of the world) shall wonder, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is to be.

⁵ And a voice came out from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear Him, both small and great.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled, and no place was found for them.

¹³ And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every one according to their works.

²⁷ And nothing shall enter into it that defileth, and practiseth abomination and falshood: but those only who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

¹² And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to recompense every one according to his work.
