⁷ And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the abyss, will make war against them, and overcome them, and kill them.

³² And He said to them, Go, tell that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and to-morrow; and in a little while I am to be perfected:

⁴ I have glorified Thee on earth, I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do:

³⁰ And when Jesus had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished. And reclining his head, He yielded up the ghost.

²⁴ But none of these things move me, nor do I account my life dear, so that I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

⁸ And then the wicked one shall be detected, whom the Lord will destroy by the breath of his mouth, and abolish by the brightness of his coming: ⁹ who comes, through the efficacy of Satan, with all kind of lying power, and signs,

⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept the faith.

¹ And the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth: and the key of the bottomless pit was given to him. ² And he opened the bottomless pit: and there came up smoke out of the pit as the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit.

³ And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

¹ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, which had seven heads and ten horns; and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the names of blasphemy. ² And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. ³ And I saw one of his heads as it were mortally wounded, but his deadly wound was healed: and all the earth wondered and went after the beast. ⁴ And they worshipped the dragon, who gave his power to the beast, and they worshipped the beast likewise, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war against him?

⁷ And he was permitted to make war upon the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over every tribe, and tongue, and nation.

¹¹ And I saw another beast ascending out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb; but he spake like a dragon.

¹⁶ And he maketh all, both small and great, rich and poor, free-men and slaves, to receive a mark on their right hand, or on their foreheads: and that no one might buy or sell, ¹⁷ but he that hath the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

⁶ And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great amazement. ⁷ And the angel said unto me, Why dost thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. ⁸ The beast, which thou sawest, was, and is not; but will rise out of the abyss, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth (whose names are not written on the book of life from the foundation of the world) shall wonder, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is to be.

¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to make war with him that sitteth upon the horse, and against his army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet, who had wrought signs before him, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
