²⁴ Another parable propounded He unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man, who sowed good grain in his ground:

²⁶ Now when the blade shot forth, and produced the corn, then the tares also appeared.

⁹ And He said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

¹⁴ The sower is he that soweth the word. And these are they by the way-side:

²³ If any one hath ears to hear, let him hear.

²⁶ And He said, The kingdom of God is as if a man should cast seed into the ground, ²⁷ and sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up, and increase; he knows not how. ²⁸ For the earth produces fruit of itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear: ²⁹ but when the fruit is ripe, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

¹⁴ And calling all the people to Him, He said unto them, ¹⁵ Hear me all of you, and understand, There is nothing without a man, which entring into him can defile him: but the things proceeding from him are those which defile a man.

⁵ A sower went out to sow his seed, and as he was sowing, some fell by the way-side, and was trodden down, and the birds of the air devoured it. ⁶ And some fell upon stony ground, and as soon as it sprung up, it withered away, because it had no moisture. ⁷ And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. ⁸ But some fell on good ground, and sprang up and yielded fruit an hundred-fold. And as He said these things He cried out, "He that hath ears to hear, let him hear."

³⁵ Do not ye say, it is yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, lift up your eyes, and see the fields, they are already white for harvest. ³⁶ And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth the fruit together unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together; ³⁷ for herein the saying is verified, that one soweth, and another reapeth, ³⁸ in as much as I have sent you to reap that on which ye have not laboured: others have laboured, and ye are entered into their labors.

¹⁴ But Peter standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said unto them, Ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and listen to my words:

⁶ I have planted, Apollos watered: but God gave the increase. ⁷ So that neither he that planteth is any thing, nor he that watereth, but God that giveth the increase. ⁸ And he that planteth, and he that watereth, are as one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor. ⁹ For we are fellow-laborers, the servants of God: and ye are the husbandry of God, ye are the building of God.

¹ For this reason we ought the more earnestly to attend to what we have heard, least by any means we should be found deficient. ² For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received it's just recompence; ³ how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which began to be declared by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by them that heard Him;

⁵ Hear, my beloved brethren; hath not God chosen the poor of this world who are rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom, which He hath promised to them that love Him? but ye have slighted the poor.

⁷ Let him, that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

¹¹ Let him, that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. He, that overcometh, shall not be hurt by the second death.
