²⁷ And beginning from Moses, and all the prophets, He explained to them in all the scriptures the things that were spoken concerning Himself.

²⁵ And He said unto them, O people void of understanding and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.

⁴⁴ And He said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all the things must be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and Psalms, concerning me.

⁴⁵ Philip meeting Nathaniel, saith unto him, We have found Him, of whom Moses in the law, and of whom the prophets also wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Jeseph.

³⁹ Ye search the scriptures; for ye think that in them ye have eternal life:

²² For Moses said unto the fathers, the Lord your God will raise up a prophet unto you, of your brethren, like me, Him shall ye hear in all things whatever He shall say unto you;

²⁴ and those that followed, as many as have prophesied, have also foretold these days.

³⁷ ---This is that Moses who said unto the children of Israel, "A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you, of your brethren, like unto me; Him shall ye hear."

⁴³ To Him do all the prophets bear witness, that whosoever believeth on Him shall receive the forgiveness of their sins through his name.

²⁷ For the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and their rulers, not knowing Him, have indeed fulfilled the words of the prophets, which are read every sabbath-day, in condemning Him. ²⁸ And though they found in Him no capital offence, yet they desired of Pilate that He might be put to death. ²⁹ And when they had finished all things that were written concerning Him, they took Him down from the cross and laid Him in a tomb. ³⁰ But God raised Him from the dead:

¹⁰ And I fell at his feet to worship him: and he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and a fellow-servant of thy brethren, that hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the Spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus.
