¹ Therefore the first covenant had also rites of worship and a worldly sanctuary.

⁶ And they were both righteous in the sight of God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

⁸ Take heed least any one make a prey of you by philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ:

² a minister of holy things, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord hath raised, and not man.

⁷ For if the first covenant had been unexceptionable, there had been no room for a second:

¹³ Now by saying, a new covenant, He hath antiquated the first: and what is antiquated, and groweth old, is near it's exit.
