⁷ in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the remission of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

²⁸ as the Son of man came not to be ministred unto, but to minister and to give his life a ransom for many.

²⁸ for this is my blood, the blood of the new covenant, which is to be shed for many for the remission of sins:

²⁴ And He said unto them, This is an emblem of my blood the seal of the new covenant, which is to be shed for many:

⁷⁷ to make known salvation to his people,

⁴⁰ And Jesus said unto him, Simon, I have something to say to thee: (and he replied, Master, say on.) ⁴¹ A certain creditor had two debtors, the one owed him five hundred denaries, and the other fifty: ⁴² and they not being able to pay him, he freely forgave them both: tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

⁴⁷ Wherefore, I tell thee, her sins though many are forgiven, for she loved much: but he to whom little is forgiven, loveth but little. ⁴⁸ And He said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. ⁴⁹ And they that sat at table with Him, said within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? ⁵⁰ But He said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee, go in peace.

⁴⁷ and that in his name should be preached repentance and remission of sins to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

²³ and whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; but whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

³⁸ And Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the holy Spirit:

¹⁹ Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out: that seasons of refreshing may come upon you from the presence of the Lord;

⁴³ To Him do all the prophets bear witness, that whosoever believeth on Him shall receive the forgiveness of their sins through his name.

³⁸ Be it known therefore unto you, brethren, that through Him is preached unto you the remission of sins: ³⁹ and by Him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

²⁸ Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the holy Spirit hath appointed you bishops, to feed the church of God, which He purchased with his own blood.

⁴ Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

²⁴ being justified freely by his grace, because of the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

⁶ As David also describeth the blessedness of the man to whom: God imputeth righteousness without works, saying, ⁷ "Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered: ⁸ blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputeth not sin." ⁹ Now is this blessedness upon the circumcised only, or upon the uncircumcised also? for we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness.

²³ and that He might make known the riches of his glory in the vessels of mercy, which He hath prepared for glory?

³⁰ But ye are of Him in Christ Jesus, who from God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

⁹ For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye by his poverty might be rich.

⁶ to the praise of his glorious grace, whereby He hath made us acceptable in the Beloved:

⁴ But God being rich in mercy, through his great love wherewith He loved us,

⁷ That in the ages to come He might shew the superabundant riches of his grace, in his kindness towards us through Christ Jesus.

⁸ On me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace bestowed, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

¹⁶ that He would grant you, according to his glorious riches, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit, as to the inner man;

¹⁹ And my God will supply all your wants, according to his riches, in glory, by Christ Jesus.

²⁷ to whom God would make known the rich glory of this mystery, among the gentiles; which is this, that Christ is in you the hope of glory:

² that their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, and to all the riches of a full assurance of understanding in these things, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of our God and Father, and of Christ:

¹³ And when ye were dead in trespasses, and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

⁶ who gave himself a ransom for all, a testimony to be published in due time,

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

⁶ which He hath plentifully shed upon us, through Jesus Christ our Saviour:

¹² nor by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption for us. ¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purification of the flesh; ¹⁴ how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself spotless to God, purify your conscience from dead works, that ye may serve the living God? ¹⁵ And on this account He is the mediator of a new covenant, that undergoing death for the redemption of transgressions against the first covenant, they that are called might receive the promise of an eternal inheritance.

²² And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood; and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

⁴ For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. ⁵ Wherefore upon his coming into the world He saith, "Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire, but a body hast thou prepared me: ⁶ in whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hadst no pleasure: ⁷ then said I, Lo I come, as in the volume of the book it is written of me, to do thy will, O God." ⁸ Having said before, "Thou didst not desire, nor hadst pleasure in, sacrifice and offering, and whole burnt-offerings, and sacrifices for sin," (which are offered by the law) then He adds, ⁹ "Lo I come to do thy will, O God." (He taketh away the first, that He may establish the second.) ¹⁰ By which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And indeed every priest under the law standeth daily ministring, and frequently offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: ¹² but He having offered one sacrifice for sins, is for ever sat down at the right hand of God;

¹⁷ He adds, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more." ¹⁸ Now where there is such a remission of these, there needs no more offering for sin.

¹⁸ knowing that ye were redeemed from your vain conversation learned by tradition from your fathers, not with corruptible things, as silver and gold; ¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

²⁴ Who Himself bare our sins in his own body on the cross, that we being dead to sins, might live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye are healed.

¹⁸ As Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust (that He might introduce us to God) being indeed put to death in the flesh, but raised to life by the Spirit:

⁷ but if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have communion with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. ⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness:

² And He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

¹² I write unto you, little children, because for his sake your sins are forgiven you:

¹⁰ Herein is love; not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent his Son to be a propitiation for our sins.

⁹ And they sung a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open its seals; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

⁴ These are they who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins: these are they who follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth: these were redeemed from among men, as the first-fruits unto God and the Lamb.
