¹ Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, to the saints, who are at Ephesus, even the faithful in Christ Jesus;

¹⁰ He, that is faithful in the lest, is faithful also in much: and he, that is unjust in the lest, is unjust also in much.

¹⁵ And when she was baptized and her family, she requested us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and lodge there. And she constrained us.

¹ Now it came to pass while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul having passed through the upper parts of Asia came to Ephesus: ² and finding some disciples there, he said unto them, Have ye received the holy Spirit since ye embraced the faith? And they said unto him, Nay, we had not even heard whether the holy Spirit be yet given. ³ And he said unto them, Into what then were ye baptized? And they said, Into the baptism of John. ⁴ Then said Paul, John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people, that they should believe in Him that was coming after him, that is, in Christ Jesus. ⁵ And when they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. ⁶ And as Paul laid his hands on them, the holy Spirit came upon them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. And the men were in all about twelve. ⁷ And he went into the synagogue, ⁸ and spake boldly, disputing with them for the space of three months, and persuading them of the things concerning the kingdom of God. ⁹ But as some were hardened and refractory, speaking evil of the way of life before the multitude, he departed from them, and took away the disciples with him, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus. ¹⁰ And this he did for two years; so that all the inhabitants of Asia, both Jews and Greeks, heard the word of the Lord Jesus. ¹¹ And God wrought extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul: ¹² so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases lest them, and evil spirits went out of them. ¹³ Then some of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to name the name of the Lord Jesus over those that had evil spirits, saying, "We adjure you by Jesus, whom Paul preacheth." ¹⁴ Now there were seven sons of one Sceva a Jewish priest, who did this. ¹⁵ But the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are ye? ¹⁶ And the man in whom the evil spirit was, leapt upon them, and mastered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. ¹⁷ And this became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, that dwelt at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. ¹⁸ And many of them that believed came confessing and declaring their former practices. ¹⁹ And a great number of those that had used inquisitive arts, brought the books, and burned them before them all: and they computed the price of them, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver. ²⁰ So mightily did the word of the Lord increase and prevail.

¹ Paul a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle,

⁷ to all that are in Rome beloved of God, called and holy: grace be to you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹ There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit.

¹ Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, to the church of God which is in Corinth, ² even to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, and called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is both their Lord and ours;

¹² and we labour working with our own hands. When we are reviled, we bless: when persecuted, we bear it: when defamed, we intreat.

¹⁷ For this end have I sent unto you Timothy, who is my beloved son and faithful in the Lord, who will bring to your remembrance my ways in Christ, how I teach every where in every church.

¹ Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, and all the saints that are in Achaia:

¹ Paul an apostle (not from men, nor by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),

⁹ So then they that believe, are blessed with believing Abraham.

²¹ But that ye also may know my affairs, and what I am doing here, Tychicus a beloved brother, and a faithful minister in the Lord, shall make all known to you: whom I have sent to you,

² and Timothy our brother, to the holy and faithful brethren in Christ at Colosse: grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ Fear none of the things which thou wilt suffer: behold the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall suffer affliction ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

¹³ I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and yet thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr; who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and those that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
