²¹ But he said unto me, Go away; for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.---

¹⁵ But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way, for he is the instrument I have chosen, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

² and as they were ministring to the Lord, and fasting, the holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work to which I have called them.

⁴⁶ Then Paul and Barnabas boldly said, It was necessary that the word of God should be first spoken to you; but since ye reject it, and judge not yourselves worthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles: ⁴⁷ for so the Lord hath commanded us, saying, "I have appointed thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation to the utmost part of the earth."

⁶ But as they opposed and blasphemed, he shook his garment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clear of it: from henceforth I will go to the Gentiles.

¹⁷ delivering thee from the people and from the Gentiles, to whom I now send thee, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of satan unto God; that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.

⁵ by whom we have received grace and apostleship to preach the obedience of faith for his name's sake, to all nations;

¹³ For I speak to you Gentiles: inasmuch indeed as I am the apostle of the Gentiles,

¹⁶ that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, administring the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the holy Spirit.

²⁶ but is now manifested, and made known to all nations by the writings of the prophets, according to the appointment of the eternal God,

¹⁵ But when it pleased God, (who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,) ¹⁶ to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach Him among the gentiles; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood,

⁷ But on the contrary, seeing that I was intrusted with the gospel of uncircumcision, as Peter was with that of the circumcision; ⁸ (for He who wrought effectually in Peter as to the apostleship of the circumcision, wrought effectually also in me as to the gentiles:)

⁶ and of the same body, and joint-partakers of his promise in Christ, by the gospel: ⁷ of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God conferred on me by the effectual operation of his power. ⁸ On me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace bestowed, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

⁷ for which I was appointed a herald and an apostle. I speak the truth in Christ, I lie not; I am a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
