¹⁵ what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath a believer with an infidel?

¹⁶ he that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved; but he that believeth not, shall be condemned.

¹⁴ And true believers were the more willingly added to the Lord, even multitudes both of men and women.

²⁰ But Peter said unto him, Let thy money perish with thee, since thou thoughtest to purchase the gift of God with money.

²⁰ No: but this I say, that what the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God. ²¹ And I would not have you partakers with demons. Ye cannot drink of the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons: ye cannot be partakers of the table of the Lord, and of the table of demons.

⁸ But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own family, he hath renounced the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

¹¹ And the testimony is this, that God hath given to us eternal life; and this life is in his Son. ¹² He that hath the Son hath life: he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. ¹³ These things have I written to you, who believe on the name of the son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may the more firmly believe on the name of the Son of God.
