⁸ He therefore who rejecteth us, rejecteth not man, but God; who hath given us his holy Spirit.

¹⁶ ---He, that heareth you, heareth me; and he, that rejecteth you, rejecteth me; and he, that rejecteth me, rejecteth Him that sent me.

⁴⁸ He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word, that I have spoken, will condemn him at the last day.

³ But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan so filled thine heart, that thou shouldst lie to the holy Ghost, and keep back part of the price of the land? ⁴ While it remained, did it not remain thy own? and when sold, was it not in thy own power? what is the meaning that thou hast taken this into thine heart? Thou hast not lyed to men, but to God.

⁴¹ "Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and vanish; for I do a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though any one should declare it unto you."

⁵ and experience hope, and this hope maketh us not ashamed; because the love of God is diffused in our hearts by the holy Spirit that is given to us.

¹⁰ But God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, even the deep things of God.

⁴⁰ but she is happier, in my opinion, if she continue as she is: and I think I have the Spirit of God.

⁶ And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

²⁴ And he, that keepeth his commandments, abideth in Him, and He in him: and hereby we know that He abideth in us, even by the Spirit which He hath given us.

⁸ So these vile dreamers also defile the flesh, despise authority, and speak evil of dignities.
