³² who, indeed, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also consent with those who practice them.

²¹ because, having known God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor did they give thanks; but they became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened.

¹ Wherefore, you are without excuse, O man, every one who judges; for wherein you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. ² Now we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those practicing such things. ³ And do you reckon this, O man, who judge those who practice such things, and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God? ⁴ Or, do you despise the riches of His kindness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God is leading you to repentance? ⁵ but, after your hardness and impenitent heart, you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and of the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

²¹ you, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that men should not steal, do you steal? ²² You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? ²³ You who boast in law, do you dishonor God through your transgression of the law?

²¹ What fruit, therefore, had ye then in the things of which ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
