²⁵ Verily, verily, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those having heard shall live.

⁶⁰ And He said, "Leave the dead to bury their own dead; but, going, publish abroad the Kingdom of God."

²⁴ because this my son was dead, and came to life again; had been lost, and was found.' And they began to be merry.

³² But it was meet to make merry, and rejoice; because this your brother was dead, and came to life again; and had been lost, and was found."

²¹ Jesus saith to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when ye will, neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.

²³ But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for, indeed, the Father seeketh such to be His worshipers.

²¹ For, as the Father raiseth the dead, and maketh them alive; so also the Son maketh alive whom He willeth.

²⁸ Marvel not at this; because there is an hour coming, in which all who are in their tombs shall hear His voice,

⁴³ Why do ye not understand My speech? it is because ye cannot hear My word.

⁴⁷ He that is of God hears the words of God; on this account, ye hear them not, because ye are not of God."

¹ Now, before the feast of the passover, Jesus, knowing that His hour came that He should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

¹ Jesus spake these things; and, lifting up His eyes to Heaven, said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify Thy Son, that the Son may glorify Thee;

⁴ We were buried, therefore, with Him through the immersion into death; that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

¹ You also did He make alive, when ye were dead in your trespasses and sins,

⁵ even when we were dead in our offenses, made us alive with Christ (by grace ye have been saved),

¹⁴ Wherefore, He saith: "Awake, you who are sleeping; and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine upon you!"

¹³ and you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, did He make alive with Him: having freely forgiven us all our trespasses;

¹ "And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write these things," saith He Who hath the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name that you are living, and you are dead.
