²² Jesus saith to him, "If I wish him to remain till I come, what is it to you? follow Me."

²⁷ For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then will He render to each one according to his work. ²⁸ Verily I say to you, there are some of those standing here, who will not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom."

³ And, while He was sitting on the mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us when shall these things be, and what is the sign of Thy coming and of the end of the age."

²⁷ For, as the lightning comes forth from the east, and shines unto the west, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man.

⁷ Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth; being patient over it, until it receives the early and latter rain.

⁷ Behold, He cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth shall lament over Him! Even so. Amen.
