¹⁰ He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world knew Him not.

⁸ which no one of the rulers of this age has known; for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

² at the end of these days spake to us in His Son, Whom He appointed Heir of all things, through Whom also He constituted the ages; ³ Who, being an effulgence of His glory and an exact expression of His substance, and upholding all things by the word of His power, having made a purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

³ By faith we perceive that the ages have been constituted by the word of God, so that what is seen has not arisen out of things that appear.

¹ Behold what manner of love the Father hath given to us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knows us not, because it knew Him not.
