⁴ Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, unless ye abide in Me.

¹⁵ "And that in the good ground, these are such as, in a good and honest heart, having heard the word, hold it fast, and bear fruit with patience.

⁵⁶ He that eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, abides in Me, and I in him.

⁶⁸ Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast words of eternal life. ⁶⁹ And we have believed and know, that Thou art the Holy One of God."

³¹ Jesus, therefore, said to those Jews who had believed on Him, "If ye abide in My word, ye are truly My disciples;

²⁰ In that day ye will know that I am in My Father, and ye in Me, and I in you.

⁵ I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit; because, apart from Me, ye can do nothing. ⁶ Unless one abides in Me, he was cast forth as a branch, and withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. ⁷ If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done to you.

²³ I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and lovedst them, even as Thou didst love Me.

²³ who, having come, and having seen the grace of God, rejoiced, and was exhorting all that, with purpose of heart, they should cleave to the Lord;

²² confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to abide in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the Kingdom of God.

⁹ But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if, indeed, the Spirit of God is dwelling in you. And, if any one has not the spirit of Christ, he is not His. ¹⁰ And, if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness.

⁸ Concerning this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. ⁹ And He hath said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you; for My power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. ¹⁰ Wherefore, I take pleasure in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then am I powerful.

⁵ Try yourselves, whether ye are in the faith; prove yourselves. Or know ye not as to yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you, unless ye be rejected?

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ; and no longer am I living, but Christ is living in me; and, in so far as I am now living in flesh, I live in the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

¹⁷ that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that ye, having been rooted and grounded in love,

¹¹ being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which is through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

²³ if, at least, ye continue in the faith, founded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Gospel, which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under the heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

²⁷ to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

⁶ As, therefore, ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him;

⁵ For this reason, I also, no longer enduring it, sent, that I might know your faith, lest by some means the tempter tempted you, and our labor should be in vain.

³⁹ But we are not of those who draw back to destruction; but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

⁶ He who says that he is abiding in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.

²⁴ As for you, let that which ye heard from the beginning abide in you. If that which ye heard from the beginning abide in you, ye also shall abide in the Son and in the Father. ²⁵ And this is the promise which He Himself promised us, the eternal life. ²⁶ These things I wrote to you concerning those who would deceive you. ²⁷ And the Anointing which ye received from Him abideth in you, and ye have no need that anyone teach you; but as His Anointing teacheth you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as He taught you, ye abide in Him. ²⁸ And now, little children, abide in Him; that, if He shall be manifested, we may have confidence, and not be put away from Him with shame at His coming.

⁹ Every one who leads forward, and abides not in the teaching of Christ, has not God. He that abides in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son.

²⁰ But do ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, ²¹ keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
