¹² And, when we heard these things, both we and those of that place were beseeching him not to go up to Jerusalem.

²¹ From that time began Jesus to show to His disciples, that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and high-priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised up. ²² And Peter, taking Him aside, began to rebuke Him, saying, "God be merciful to Thee! this shall not be to Thee." ²³ But, turning, He said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! you are a stumbling-block to Me; because you are not thinking of the things of God, but the things of men."

²² And, now, behold, I, bound by the Spirit, am going to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there;

⁴ And, having found the disciples, we tarried there seven days; who, indeed, said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.
