¹ Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was clothed in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, his legs were like pillars of fire,

² And in their presence His appearance was changed and His face shone like the sun, and His clothes turned as white as light.

²⁷ Then they will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud in overwhelming power and splendor.

¹³ and on the road at noon, your Majesty, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, flash around me and my fellow-travelers.

⁷ See! He is coming on the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even the men who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will lament over Him. Even so. Amen.

¹⁵ His feet were like bronze refined to white heat in a furnace, and His voice was like the roar of many waters. ¹⁶ In His right hand He was holding seven stars, and a sharp, double-edged sword was coming out of His mouth, and His face was shining like the sun at midday.

³ The One who was seated on it looked like jasper or sardius, and around the throne there was a rainbow that looked like an emerald.

² And I saw a mighty angel announcing in a loud voice, "Who deserves to open the book and break its seals?"

¹ After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind should blow on the earth, the sea, or any tree. ² Then I saw another angel coming up from the east with the seal of the living God, and he cried out to the four angels who had the power to injure the earth and the sea:

² Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. ³ Then another angel with a censer of gold came and stood at the altar, and a great quantity of incense was given to him to mingle with the prayers of all God's people, on the altar of gold that stood before the throne. ⁴ So the smoke of the incense went up from the angel's hand to the presence of God for the prayers of His people. ⁵ Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and flung it to the earth, and there followed peals of thunder with its rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

¹³ Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in mid-air say in a loud voice, "Alas! Alas! Alas for the inhabitants of the earth because of the remaining blasts of the three angels who are going to blow their trumpets!"

¹³ Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the corners of the altar of gold that was before God ¹⁴ say to the sixth angel who had the trumpet: "Turn loose the four angels that are bound at the river Euphrates."

⁵ Then the angel, whom I had seen standing on the sea and on the land, raised his right hand to heaven, ⁶ and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heavens and all that they contain, the earth and all that it contains, and the sea and all that it contains, that there should be no more delay,

¹⁴ Then I looked, and there was a bright cloud with one seated on it like the Son of man, with a crown of gold on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand. ¹⁵ Then another angel came out of the temple and cried in a loud voice to Him who was seated on the cloud, "Put forth your sickle and reap, for the time to reap has come, because the earth's harvest is ripe."
