⁶ You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars; take care not to be scared out of your wits. They have to come, but that is not the end yet.

¹⁴ And this good news of the kingdom must be preached all over the inhabited world, for a testimony to all the heathen, and then the end will come.

⁵⁴ How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, for they say this is the way it must be?"

⁷ But when you hear of wars and rumors of war, stop getting alarmed. They have to come, but the end is not yet. ⁸ For one nation will go to war with another, and one kingdom with another. There will be earthquakes in many places; there will be famines. But this is only the beginning of the agonies.

⁹ And when you hear of wars and tumults, never be panic-stricken. For this has to take place first, but the end will not come all at once."

¹⁹ By your endurance you will win your souls.

³⁷ For I tell you, what has been written about me must be fulfilled: 'He was classed with the outlaws.' Yes, that saying about me has its fulfillment."
