⁴⁴ But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that do spitefully use and persecute you: ⁴⁵ That ye may be children of your Father who is in the heavens; for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

¹² And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debters.

³⁵ But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, desponding nothing: and your reward shall be great and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful, and the evil. ³⁶ Be ye merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
