15 And when it was evening his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the hour is now past; send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages, and buy them selves victuals.
16 But he said unto them, They need not depart, give ye them to eat.
17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
18 But he said, Bring them to me.
19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and he took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.
20 And they all did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained, twelve baskets full.
21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

31 And Jesus said unto them, Let us go into a desert place, and do you rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
32 And they getting up into a ship departed into a desert place privately.
33 And they saw them departing, and many knew [him], and ran afoot thither out of all the cities, and came thither.
34 And Jesus when he came out, and saw a great multitude, was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
35 But after many hours, his disciples came and said unto him, This is a desert place, and now the time [is] far passed:
36 Send them away, that they may go into the country hard by, and into the villages, that they may buy themselves somewhat to eat.
37 And Jesus answering, said unto them, Give ye them to eat. They say unto him, Shall we go and buy bread with two hundred denarii, and give them to eat?
38 And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves of bread have ye? go, see. And when they knew, they say unto him, Five loaves, and two fishes.
39 And Jesus commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.
40 And they sat down in ranks by hundreds, and by fifties.
41 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the five loaves, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.
42 And they did all eat, and were filled.
43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.

12 But when the day began to decline, then came the twelve and said unto him, dismiss the multitude, that they may go into the town and fields round about, and lodge; for we are here in a desert place.
