²¹ For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickneth [them]; even so the Son quickneth whom he will.

¹⁴ And he came and touched the bier, but the bearers stood still; and he said, Young man, Young man, I say unto thee. Arise. ¹⁵ And he that was dead, sat up and began to speak: and he gave him to his mother.

⁵⁴ But he took her by the hand, and called, saying, Damsel arise. ⁵⁵ And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.

²⁵ Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth on me, though he were dead, yet shall he live;

⁴³ And when he has spoken this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. ⁴⁴ And he that was dead come forth presently, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

² As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that every one whom thou hast given him may have eternal life.

⁸ Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?

¹⁷ As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations before him whom he believed, God, who quickneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were: ¹⁸ Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the Father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. ¹⁹ And being not weak in the faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's Womb.

¹¹ But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead, shall also quicken your mortal bodies, by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
