¹⁷ That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye being rooted and grounded in love,

²⁴ Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doth them, he shall be likened unto a wise man who built his house upon a rock: ²⁵ And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon the house: and it fell not, for it was founded upon a rock,

⁶ And when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because they had no root, they withered away.

⁴⁸ He is like a man who built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation upon a rock: but when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock,

⁵⁶ He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the father is in me, so I am in the father; Verily verily I say unto you unless ye take the body of the Son of Man as the bread of life, ye have not life in him.

¹⁷ The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him, for he abideth with you, and is in you.

²³ Jesus answered and said unto him, If any one love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and I will come unto him, and make my abode with him.

²³ And I in thee, and Thou in me, that they may be made perfect into one, that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and I have loved them, as thou hast loved me.

⁵ And hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.

⁹ But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now is any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. ¹⁰ And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead, because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life, because of righteousness. ¹¹ But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead, shall also quicken your mortal bodies, by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

¹ Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ constraineth us, because we thus judge, that [if] one died for all, then were all dead; ¹⁵ And he died for all, that they who live, should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him who died for them, and rose again.

¹⁶ And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for we are the temple of the living God; for God saith, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

²⁰ I am crucified with Christ: Nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

⁶ For in Jesus Christ, neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but faith which worketh by love:

²¹ In whom all the building fitly framed together, groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: ²² In whom you also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

²³ If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, which was preached to all the creation that is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister.

²⁷ To whom God would make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

⁷ Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have also been taught, abounding in him with thanksgiving.

⁴ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

¹⁶ And we have known and believe the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love, dwelleth in God, and God in him.

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
