Colossians 2:1 Cross References - Whiston

¹ For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and them at Laodicea, and as many as have not seen my face in the flesh:

⁴⁴ And being in an agony, he prayed very earnestly: and his sweat was at it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

²⁵ And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of Jesus, shall see my face no more.

³⁸ Sorrowing most of all for the word which he spake, [that] they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.

¹⁹ My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

³⁰ Having the same conflict which ye both saw in me, and now hear [to be] in me.

²⁴ Who now rejoice in sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh, for his body's sake, who is the church:

²⁹ Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

⁵ For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.

¹² Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you; always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect, and fully assured in all the will of Christ, ¹³ For I bear him record, that he is in great pain for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.

¹⁵ Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house. ¹⁶ And when this epistle is read amongst you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; That ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.

² But after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.

⁷ Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears, unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard, in that he feared;

⁸ Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom though now ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable, and full of glory:

¹¹ Saying, what thou seest, write in a book, and send unto the seven churches, unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamus, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

¹⁴ And onto the angel of the church which is at Laodicea, write, These things saith the Amen, the faithful andtrue witness, the beginning of the creation of God; ¹⁵ I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot. ¹⁶ So then because thou art luke-warm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth: ¹⁷ Because thou sayst, I am rich and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. ¹⁸ I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayst be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayst be clothed, and the shame of thy nakedness may not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve, that thou mayst see. ¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten; be zealous therefore, and repent. ²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. ²¹ To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. ²² He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
