²¹ But the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

⁶⁶ And all they that heard it laid [it] up in their hearts, saying, What then shall this child be ?For the hand of the Lord [was] also with him.

⁴⁷ Praising God, and having favour with all the world. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

⁴ But many of them which heard the word, believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

¹⁸ To open their eyes, and to turn [them] from darkness to light, and[from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them who are sanctified by faith that is in me. ¹⁹ Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: ²⁰ But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judea, and to the Gentiles, that they should repent, and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

⁶ I have planted, Apollos watered: but God gave the increase. ⁷ So then, neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth: but God that giveth the increase.

⁵ For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

⁹ For they themselves shew of us, what manner of entring in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols, to serve the living and true God, ¹⁰ And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus, who delivereth us from the wrath that is coming.
