¹¹ Ða stöd se farisëus & hine þus gebæd. god. þe ic þancas dö. for-þam þe ic ne eom swylce oðre men. reaferas unriht-wise. unriht-hæmeras. oððe eac swylce þes mänfulla; ¹² Ic fæste tuwa on ucan. ic sylle teoþunga ealles þæs þe ic hæbbe; ¹³ Ða stöd se man-fulla feorran & nolde furðun his eagan ahebban üp. to þam heofone ac he beot his breost & cwæþ; God beo þu mïlde me syn-fullum;

¹⁷ for-þam þe æ wæs geseald þurh moysen. & gyfu; & soþfæstnes is geworden þurh hælend crist.

²¹ Ða cwæð se hælend to hyre. la wïf gelyf me. þt seo tid cymð þonne ge ne gebiddaþ fæder ne on þisse dune ne on gerusalem;

²⁵ Soð ic secge eow þt seo tid cymð & nu is. þonne þa deadan gehyrað godes suna stefne. & þa lybbað þe hig gehyrað.

²³ Se hælend him &swarode & cwæð. seo tid cymð þt mannes sunu byð geswutelod:

³² nu cöm tïd & cymð þt ge tofaron æg-hwylc to his agenon & for-læton më anne & ic ne eom äna forþam min fæder is mid me;
