⁴⁵ And when he was come into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast. For they also had come to the feast.

²³ And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease, and all manner of malady among the people. ²⁴ And his fame went thro' all Syria; and they brought to him all sick people, that were seized with divers diseases and tormenting pains; even demoniacs, and lunaticks, and paralytics; and he healed them.

⁴² And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem, after the custom of the feast. ⁴³ And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew it not, ⁴⁴ But supposing him to be in the company, they went a day's journey; and sought him among their kinsfolk and among their acquaintance.

⁴⁰ And when Jesus returned, the people gladly received him; for they were all waiting for him.

⁵³ But they did not receive him, because his face was, as tho' he would go to Jerusalem.

¹³ For the passover of the Jews was nigh, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, And found in the temple them that fold oxen, ¹⁴ and sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting. ¹⁵ And having made a scourge of rushes, he drove all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers money, ¹⁶ and otherthrew the tables, And said to them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of traffick.

²³ Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, on the feast day, many believed in his name, beholding the miracles which he did.

² The same came to him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know, that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles which thou dost, except God be with him.
