³ Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were made of things which do not appear.

³ All things were made by him, and without him was not one single thing made that was made.

¹⁵ We also are men of like passions with you, and preach to you, to turn from these vanities unto the living God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things that are therein: Who, in times past, suffered all nations to walk in their own ways:

²⁴ God who made the world and all things therein, being the Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands.

¹⁹ For what is to be known of God, is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it to them. ²⁰ For those things of him which are invisible, both his eternal power and Godhead, are clearly seen from the creation of the world, being understood by the things which are made, so that they are without excuse: ²¹ Because knowing God, they did not glorify him as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their reasonings, and their foolish heart was darkened.

¹⁷ I have made thee a father of many nations) before God in whom he believed, as quickning the dead, and calling the things that are not, as though they were:

² Whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom he also made the worlds:

⁵ For this they are willingly ignorant of, that by the word of God of old the heavens were and the earth, standing out of the water and in the water,

¹¹ saying, Worthy art thou, O Lord our God, to receive the glory, and the honour, and the power, for thou hast created all things, and through thy will they are, and were created.
