²¹ And having threatened them again, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people; for they all glorified God for that which was done.

⁶ Then said Peter, Silver and gold have I none; but what I have, I give thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. ⁷ And taking him by the right-hand, he lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle-bones were strengthened, ⁸ And leaping up, he stood and walked, and went with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. ⁹ And all the people saw him walking and praising God.

¹⁷ Yet that it spread no farther among the people, let us severely threaten them, that they speak no more to any man in this name.

²⁶ Then the captain going with the officers brought them, not with violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.

⁴⁰ And to him they agreed. And having called the apostles, and scourged them, they charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
