²⁴ God who made the world and all things therein, being the Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands.

³⁴ But I say unto you, Swear not at all, neither by heaven, for it is God's throne.

²⁵ At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes.

²¹ Yet in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice, that your names are written in heaven. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

¹ In the beginning existed the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

²² Ye worship ye know not what; we know what we worship; for salvation is from the Jews. ²³ But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such worshipers. ²⁴ And when they heard it, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art the God who madest heaven and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

⁴⁸ Yet the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands, as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth my footstool.

¹⁵ We also are men of like passions with you, and preach to you, to turn from these vanities unto the living God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things that are therein: Who, in times past, suffered all nations to walk in their own ways:

²⁶ And he hath made of one the whole nation of men, to dwell on all the face of the earth, having determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation: ²⁷ That they might seek God, if haply they might feel after him and find him, though he be not far from every one of us. ²⁸ For in him we live and move, and have our being; as certain likewise of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

² Whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom he also made the worlds:

⁴ Now every house is built by some one: but he that built all things is God.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat thereon, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
