²⁵ Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation, through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

¹⁸ But those things which God before had shown by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

²⁸ To do whatever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

³⁸ Be it known to you therefore, men, brethren, that through this man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; ³⁹ And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

¹⁸ Known to God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

³⁰ And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

⁴ Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

¹ Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ:

⁹ Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

¹¹ And not only so, but we also joy in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

²⁰ And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things to himself; by him, I say, whether they are things on earth, or things in heaven. ²¹ And you, that were formerly alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled, ²² In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblamable and unreprovable in his sight: ²³ If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which hath been preached to every creature which is under heaven; of which I Paul am made a minister;

¹⁵ This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

⁵ And over it the cherubim of glory shadowing the mercy-seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

¹⁴ How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? ¹⁵ And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they who are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance. ¹⁶ For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. ¹⁷ For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. ¹⁸ Hence even the first testament was not dedicated without blood. ¹⁹ For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book and all the people, ²⁰ Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined to you. ²¹ Moreover, he sprinkled likewise with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. ²² And almost all things are by the law cleansed with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

²⁵ Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; ²⁶ For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

⁴ For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

¹⁹ Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the vail, that is to say, his flesh;

⁷ By faith Noah, being warned by God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

¹⁰ If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

² And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

⁹ And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals of it: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and language, and people, and nation;

⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

¹⁵ And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
