¹ And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, ² See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: ³ And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, ⁴ To devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, ⁵ And in cutting of stones to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. ⁶ And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all that are wise-hearted I have put wisdom; that they may make all that I have commanded thee: ⁷ The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy-seat that is upon it, and all the furniture of the tabernacle, ⁸ And the table and its furniture, and the pure candlestick with all its furniture, and the altar of incense, ⁹ And the altar of burnt-offering, with all its furniture, and the laver and its foot, ¹⁰ And the clothes of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office, ¹¹ And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee, shall they do. ¹² And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, ¹³ Speak thou also to the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. ¹⁴ Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore: for it is holy to you. ³³ And they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent, and all its furniture, its buttons, its boards, its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets, ³⁴ And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering, ³⁵ The ark of the testimony, and its staffs, and the mercy-seat, ³⁶ The table, and all its vessels, and the show-bread, ³⁷ The pure candlestick, with its lamps, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all its vessels, and the oil for light, ³⁸ And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle-door, ³⁹ The brazen altar, and its grate of brass, its staffs, and all its vessels, the laver and its foot, ⁴⁰ The hangings of the court, its pillars, and its sockets, and the hanging for the court-gate, its cords, and its pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation, ⁴¹ The clothes of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office. ⁴² According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

² On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. ³ And thou shalt put in it the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail. ⁴ And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light its lamps. ⁵ And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle. ⁶ And thou shalt set the altar of the, burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. ⁷ And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water in it. ⁸ And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court-gate. ⁹ And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shalt hallow it, and all its vessels: and it shall be holy. ¹⁰ And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt-offering and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy. ¹¹ And thou shalt anoint the laver and its foot, and sanctify it. ¹² And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water. ¹³ And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister to me in the priest's office. ¹⁴ And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats: ¹⁵ And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister to me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. ¹⁶ Thus did Moses; according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

³⁰ And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash with.

⁴ This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things. ⁵ And when the camp moveth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it: ⁶ And shall put on it the covering of badgers' skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staffs of it. ⁷ And upon the table of show-bread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put on it the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover with: and the continual bread shall be upon it. ⁸ And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put in the staffs of it. ⁹ And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and its lamps, and its tongs, and its snuff-dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it: ¹⁰ And they shall put it, and all its vessels, within a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put it upon a bar. ¹¹ And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put to it its staffs. ¹² And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put them on a bar. ¹³ And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth upon it: ¹⁴ And they shall put upon it all its vessels, with which they minister about it, even the censers, the flesh-hooks, and the shovels, and the basins, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to it its staffs. ¹⁵ And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to move forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation. ¹⁶ And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertain the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat-offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, in the sanctuary, and in its vessels.
