¹³ And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said to them, Occupy till I come.

¹⁴ For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered to them his goods. ¹⁵ And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and forthwith took his journey.

⁷ But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man for profit. ⁸ For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another, the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; ⁹ To another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; ¹⁰ To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discerning of spirits; to another, divers kinds of languages; to another, the interpretation of languages: ¹¹ But all these worketh that one and the same Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

²⁸ And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of languages. ²⁹ Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

¹⁰ For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
