⁶ What were its foundations fastened on? Or who laid its cornerstone,

¹⁸ You shall make twenty boards for the tabernacle, for the south side southward. ¹⁹ You shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for its two tenons, and two sockets under another board for its two tenons. ²⁰ For the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, twenty boards, ²¹ and their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board. ²² For the far side of the tabernacle westward you shall make six boards. ²³ You shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the far side. ²⁴ They shall be double beneath, and in the same way they shall be whole to its top to one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners. ²⁵ There shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.

⁸ He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to make them sit with princes and inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are Yahweh’s. He has set the world on them.

⁷ He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.

² For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods.

¹ Yahweh reigns! He is clothed with majesty! Yahweh is armed with strength. The world also is established. It can’t be moved.

⁵ He laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved forever.

²² The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

¹² Then our sons will be like well-nurtured plants, our daughters like pillars carved to adorn a palace.

¹⁶ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not act hastily.

¹ A revelation, Yahweh’s word concerning Israel. Yahweh, who stretches out the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him says:

²⁰ being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone; ²¹ in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;

⁵ For this they willfully forget that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water by the word of God,
