Titus 2:9 Cross References - VIN

9 Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not to talk back to them,

Ephesians 5:24

24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Ephesians 6:5-8

5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear and sincerity of heart, just as you would show to Christ. 6 And do this not only to please them while they are watching, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. 7 Serve willingly, as if you were serving the Lord and not merely people, 8 because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.

Colossians 3:22-25

22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything, not only to please them while they are watching, but with sincerity of heart and fear of the Lord. 23 Whatever you do, do it with all your heart, as work for the Lord and not for men, 24 because you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as your reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 (But he who does wrong will be repaid for this wrong, and there is no favoritism.)

1 Timothy 6:1-2

1 As many as are under the yoke of slavery should consider their own owners to be worthy of full respect, so that God’s name and doctrine not be slandered. 2 Moreover, those who have believing masters should be respectful to them, because they are fellow believers. In fact, they must serve them even better, because those who benefit from their service are believers and dear to them. These are the things you must teach and exhort.

1 Peter 2:18-25

18 Servants, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but even to those who are unreasonable. 19 For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God. 20 How is it to your credit if you are beaten for doing wrong and you endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps, 22 "He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth;" 23 When they heaped abuse on Him, He did not retaliate; when He suffered, He made no threats, but entrusted Himself to Him who judges justly. 24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
