Romans 11:2 Cross References - VIN

² God did not reject His people, whom He foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says about Elijah, how he appealed to God against Israel:

¹⁵ Joseph said to them, “What deed is this that you have done? Don't you know that such a man as I can indeed do divination?”

¹ When the people saw that Moses took a long time to come down the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and told him, "Come here and make us a god who will go before us, because, as for this fellow Moses who led us out of the land of Egypt, we don't know what has become of him."

¹⁵ Moses was very angry, and said to the LORD, "Do not respect their offering: I have not taken one donkey from them, neither have I hurt one of them."

³⁰ You were patient with them for many years, warning them by your Spirit through your prophets. But they would not listen, so you turned them over to the control of people in other lands.

¹⁴ For the LORD won't reject his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

¹⁹ Do pay close attention to me, O LORD! Listen to what my opponents are saying! ²⁰ Should good be repaid with evil? Yet they have dug a pit to take my life. Remember! I stood before you and spoke good on their behalf in order to turn your wrath away from them. ²¹ Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and give them over to the power of the sword. Let their wives become childless and widows. Let their men be killed and their young men struck by the sword in battle. ²² Let an outcry be heard from their houses when you suddenly bring raiders upon them. For they have dug a pit to capture me and hidden snares for my feet. ²³ Yet, the LORD, you know all their counsel against me to kill me. Don't forgive their iniquity. Don't blot out their sin from your sight, Let them be overthrown before you. Deal with them in the time of your anger.

¹ Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness

¹ Now when Jesus knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John ² (although it was not Jesus who baptized, but His disciples), ³ he left Judea and went back again to Galilee.

¹¹ “Sir,” the woman replied, “You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where then will You get this living water?

¹⁷ And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.

⁴⁰ They said to Aaron, ‘Make us gods who will go before us! As for this Moses who led us out of Egypt, we do not know what has happened to him.’

⁴⁸ When the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced and glorified the word of the Lord, and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.

¹⁸ that have been known for ages.’

²⁹ For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. ³⁰ And those He predestined He also called, those He called He also justified, those He justified He also glorified.

⁶ It is not as though God’s word has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.

²³ What if He did this to make the riches of His glory known to the vessels of His mercy, whom He prepared in advance for glory—

² Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases?

²² But if I go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. So what shall I choose? I do not know.

¹ In times past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets in many parts and in various ways, ² who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling with his blood: may grace and peace be yours in abundance.
