³⁸ Sinners will be destroyed together; the future of the wicked will be cut off.

⁴ This is not so for the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. ⁵ Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. ⁶ for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

¹⁷ The wicked shall return to Sheol, even all the nations that forget God

⁵ but God will pull you down forever. He will snatch you and tear you away from your tent, and he will uproot you from the land of the living. Selah

¹⁷ until I entered the sanctuaries of God. Then I understood their destiny.

³² The wicked is brought down in his calamity, but in death, the righteous has a refuge.

³⁰ Let both grow together until the harvest. At the proper time I will tell the harvesters, “First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

⁴⁹ So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous ⁵⁰ and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

⁴⁶ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
